I got inside of the U-Haul and it was absolutely filthy, I took several pictures when I got in. I went inside and told the person at the desk about it and she said “oh they must not have cleaned it out since the last rental” It also sounded like it was not well maintained mechanically and kept making grinding noises and quite literally sounded like it was going to blow up. And to top it off, the air conditioner kept going in and out. I have never experienced this is all of my years renting with U-Haul. I’m very disappointed and will not be using U-Haul in the future.
jamie lUpon picking up the truck, the establishment was closed. We didn’t get the approval from the app and couldn’t move forward to the online process and could not get someone in person as in the rental office there was no one onsite. Hours of business indicated someone should be at the office; however no one was there. Called the 1800 number whom they instructed how to get to the bolt and provided the code to open the lock and obtain the keys to the truck. Then when it was time to upload the pictures the app was not uploading the pics. Called the number again which they instructed not to worry. It was a bad experience. Too complicated as well as the app was not easy to navigate.
