Over charged me corporate didn't do shit call me

Full Tanks, I was only given 1/4 full tank. If I had a full tank, I could just top it off when I take it back. This way I had to find a gas station fill, then go back to the gas station and fill back up. This cut into MY time. It is fair to go to the gas station fill it up to return it. That was a big no no in my book. I would have filled it up for the client and they replace what they used. Plus check in was horrible. You should have warned people who have androids vs iphones. Androids don't get signal...and I didn't have the setting that they suggested for me to change in my settings. I had to finally download the app to get things fixed. should have suggested that to begin with. I lost 45 minutes of MY time trying to get checked it, which you advertised was "10 " minutes. I would have downloaded the app if suggested before hand. I had all the information that was suggested before hand, but this was not suggested. I lost an hour and a half of moving time, I desperately needed.

I can not think of any improvements - service was excellent (friendly, precise, supportive, responsive). It is perhaps the best U-Haul experience I have ever had. The equipment was clean and well serviced.

U-Haul the company was great. The pickup location, not so much. The woman in charge of the rental was incredibly rude for no reason and there was miscommunication that led to me being overcharged. I called U-Haul and they got the mix up fixed easily, but if the woman did her job correctly there wouldn't have been a mixup in the first place.

Moving a houseful of stuff, needed a bigger truck. I got a truck that was falling apart from the seams. It might have been okay if it was a local drive, but we were traveling a distance of 600+ from pick up, load, and move. The truck was loud, had melting plastic by thr exhaust, noises you should not hear with the tow load on, clanking in the front end when making tighter turns other than curves. Not to forget the breaks were horrible even on an empty load. Drove a few moving trucks in my lifetime, and none have ever been this bad of shape.


Attendant misinformed me on the Return of the Equipment. He Clearly Stated that I may Rtn. the 10 ft.Truck to any Location without additional Charges (and I asked him to reiterate). This is the reason I chose the smaller truck. However; when I Called Uhaul 800# Representative, it was stated I would receive a Penalty if the truck was not returned to the Same Pick up Location. This caused me a great inconvenience Time & Travel wise, because I was approximately 36 miles away from Furniture & More. I think the Uhaul Rep. @ this location needs to be retrained! The Rep. @ Uhaul Corp. office did settle the Issue.

We had to go 45 miles South of our original pickup location because the car hauler at the Kingsville location had a bent hitch. The owner tried to push us to take it anyway saying the people before us drove all the way from Arizona and didn't report any problems. I was not at all pleased with his neglect for safety.

The trailer that had an on board break system was disabled because someone installed a 4 pin connector instead of a 7 pin.

The truck was dirty the gas tank was almost empty could barely make it to a gas station before running out of gas . They told me I could take the track at a specific location and I go to the location and they said it was going to cost me 250$ extra to leave the truck at their location bc the guy never called to notify them. It was a big mess.

They charged me for gas when I had just gotten gas right next door and had 2 witnesses saying I put in the correct amount according to the paperwork. Dont use them. The truck smelled and there were cancer sticks left in the ashtray - so gross. Terrible. Wont be getting a truck there again.

Disappointed. I also posted comments on UHual website as well. First, I wasted at least 3 hours last Friday after the plans were changed on pickup unilaterally. In addition, I called U-Hual main service line and the actual location to confirm pick-up procedure. Neither had grasp of proceedures on 24hr pickup policy. I scrambled to get back to my office to figure out what I needed to do. I also requested 2 calls back to make sure what the proceedure was. I am still am waiting for a call. Saturday pick-up was similar experience. Having never received any call on what I needed to do, I took a leap of faith and drove to site. On arriving, I did not receive either dolly I paid for and requested on my order. It cost me another hour of lost time and $75 to run to Home Depot to get a dolly. I fully expect reimbursement for this on my order. On ride back after, I tried calling Customer Service line 3x and wasted another 37 minutes never being able to get through on your 800#.

The lady at place I rented the truck was very rude and snotty towed me I wouldn't recommend any one to go there and also this naughty b**** didn't bother to tell me if you pay will cash it was more of a deposit so I didn't have a credit card with me so I was not happy with the experience at all

This was not my original site. My reservation was moved here and to a time 2 hours later than scheduled. Site did not answer or return my call. I called the 1800# they set up the 24/7 pick up. Morning of rental I sign in and there is no equipment listed under my name, the contact did not answer the phone. Again I call the 800#, customer service was very nice and took care of it. Get out of the car and the parking lot was icy, I slipped and fell. I make it through to the point where you get the key and it won't open. I believe at this point I was talking to someone regional from Akron. They offered an emergency transfer to a site in Warren, at this point someone came walking in to open but they were not able to open the box even with a key. I had to have an emergency transfer to another site.
