Very nice people, very courteous. I told the manager about the mileage allowance being too short to get me to my house, and he was nice enough to waive the .40 cents per mile charge, since I was about 25 miles over. Like I've always said, there's a big difference between people in the city, and people in the country.....common courtesy is the main difference.

When I picked up the truck it had 3/4 tank but bill listed 7/8. When I drop off the truck I left it with 7/8 and dealer listed at 3/4. I left the truck at 10:00am Monday mourning. Since the dealer was not there and I live 240 miles away I hardly can challenge it. All I know to be true is the truck had more fuel in it when I left it, than when I dropped it off. In addition I called U-Haul today at 11:28am and talked to Alina. She stated there where no additional charges. I will leave out the Crocket dealer mishap.

No one was available to help me unload the trailer at 8:45 am. I had to back up the trailer in a very tight place and take it off the vehicle by myself. Just as I was leaving, the owner showed up and help[ed me actually pull the trailer off the ball. Good thing that I have had lots of practice backing up horse and boat trailers. The average person would not have been able to get that trailer in that tight space.

When the lady ask for the credit card I told her not to announce it out loud and there was some other people in there at the time and I be darn she did it anyways. That made me mad.

I was not able to use the trailer that I rented due to it not being big enough. I notified uhaul immediately and left the trailer on their property. I was still charged $36.00. I feel as though I should have received a full refund due to the trailer not being used. Consumer's should not have to pay because Uhaul doesn't have what they need. This was unfair and unjust. I am very upset with Uhaul

We had multiple issues with the trailer that we did not know about until we were well into our trip or dropped off the trailer. 1) Only one of two security chains was attached from the trailer to my car. The guy at drop off discovered this. 2) Only one of two security chains was connected from the truck to the trailer. The guy at drop off discovered this as well. 3) The trailer tail lights never worked & the man who hooked up the trailer did not verify that they were working before we left. I discovered this about 500 miles into our trip. The man at the drop off location said, “Please tell me a U-haul person didn’t load the trailer.” When I said they did, he talked of the potential danger from what he discovered that wasn’t done properly and apologized repeatedly for the quality of service we received. While the people loading the trailer were extremely friendly, it was obvious they did not know what they were doing. I believe the poor service warrants at least a refund of the rental fee for the trailer. Thank you for your attention to this matter and I look forward to your response. Betsy Wheeler

Office was closed for the evening with the agent locking the door. He still took my info and keys inside the office and placed them on the desk for safety and assured he'd have the service agent contact me Monday morning to verify check in. That's exactly what she followed up and did.
