I reserved a 5x8 cargo trailer to be picked up at University City. The day before pickup I was notified that my trailer was reserved for me at Crum Lynne at 10:00am for pickup. I am not from Philly, I did not know where this location was and I did not chose this location for pickup. I called UHaul University City to complain and told them I wanted to pick up at their place. They told me it would be there at 7:30am. I get there and it's not there. They lied to me - apparently to get me off of the phone and not deal with my complaint. So that morning, during rush hour traffic and not knowing where I was going, I had to drive an hour out of my way to get there and back in order to load. To top it off, I had movers who were hired, from the UHaul website, to come at 9:00. They asked to come at 8:00, then 8:30. They didn't show until 10:15 and that was only because I called numerous times to find out where they were and I threatened to cancel their services. In the meantime my wife and son had moved 99% of the stuff being moved downstairs and by the front door while I had to sit in the parking lot with the UHaul. My son even had to help move things into the UHaul because we had to be done by 11:00 and since the movers did not show up on time, it had to be done. So I paid for 2 people for 2 hours and did not even get an hours worth of labor. Whether or not they are part of UHaul doesn't matter to me. UHaul's website has numerous movers on there that I would hope they monitor since they are associated with them by letting them use their website. So both companies let me down, both companies seemed not to care, and both companies did nothing to compensate me for my time and gas. I expected more from UHaul and m quite disappointed with them and management.

Empan the office is way too small, Have more workers on weekends. Other than that the staff are very friendly, I will rent again from this location.

Not happy at being charged for dolly and furniture pads when we did not use them. Makes me wonder if I have been charged with previous rental and didn t catch it on the statement.

The van smelled horribly like smoke, and I felt like I was going to vomit the entire time I was inside it (which was more than 8 hours total). Not only was it unacceptable health-wise (I have asthma and an allergy to cigarette smoke), but now all of the items that were in the truck smell terrible. Unacceptable.

I didn't know where to go or when. There was not enough information in the confirmation email. I would have appreciated more notice about when and where to go. I ended up being late for my reservation because I mistakenly looked up the business hours from a different business.

I returned the car trailer on Tuesday and returned the truck on Wednesday. The customer service on Wednesday was professional, courteous and efficient. The service on Tuesday was very different - probably just caught your rep on a bad day.

The man that we rented from had little to no personality. Did not greet us as we walked in the door. We approached him with our name for the reservation. He barely spoke until he needed us to press a button or answer a question. Nothing was discussed about prices. When my fiancé and I went out to the truck we found that the lock of the passenger side was hanging off. We than went back in to let this man know, so that we did not get charged, he looked slightly annoyed that he had to come out and check it. Overall it was a smooth transaction and the truck worked fine. The personality and customer service is lacking.

The problem is that I confirmed a pick up 2 miles down the street from my house. When I went to pick up the truck on Friday, they said they didn't have a truck for me - even though I booked it a month in advance, and checked in the day before. I would suggest not allowing people to pick where they can pick up a truck - also, a lot of your locations close early and I work. I picked the location by my house because they were open later than 3:00 p.m. and it was close! So, I had to drive over an hour out of my way to pick up the truck on Friday 4/15/2016. It was a head ache.

When I went to return the truck, the worker got on his cel phone. I waited inside 5 minutes before I went outside to ask for assistance. He looked at me and gave me the one minute sign with his finger. I waited inside for another 5 minutes while he was outside on his cell phone, another gentleman came and the worker still would not get off his phone when we asked for assistance. Poor customer service!
