The only problem was that I was told that I could drop the truck at any location and I did and so 2 days later someone on the phone asking when was the truck was going to be drop off and said I dropped at a location nearby and told me I wasn't supposed to drop at any location so that was very confusing.EVELIN G.

Truck smelled like cigarettes. Representative forgot to put appliance dolly on the truck and I had to drive back to the store and get it. When I received the dolly representative said that it had some pieces coming out, and tire was loose but assured me it would not fall apart. Did not offer to provide a different one. 5 min after using it, it fell apart. Poor costumer service, representatives were playing on their phones and talking about how they don't like their job, while customers where in line.anna F.

The store was fine, equipment was fine. The problem I have is even after I brought the equipment back and checked in, "your good to go see ya later your receipt was sent to your email". Supposedly they had computer problems nationwide and didn't run my CC even though to rent the equipment they got an authorization approval beforehand etc. But instead of just running the Card as THEY SHOULD HAVE done! I get nasty letters from UHauls collections, were going to send you to collections or an ATTORNEY. Why didn't UHaul just run the FREAKING Card like they were supposed to in the first place? Instead, they make the customer jump through hoops to fix their problems. I waited online to bitch at them for over 40 minutes and never got through. I was disappointed that I couldn't get the after hours link to work on the u-haul website so I couldn't check the vehicle in, which was an extra charge, as well as, being charged for another day. I even called the 800 number and spoke with a rep explaining why I couldn't check the vehicle in and she stated she would note my account and let the location know about it. I've used U-haul on several occasions, but I'm going to use another business for my next move.Sherri B.
I made the reservation for 7am 2 weeks in advance. I get a call at 430pm the day before saying I can no longer pick up at 7am. This was eventually taken care of after spending 1 hour on the phone with the associate on Friday afternoon. The pick up location forgot to include the dolly. when I called to get a refund, I was told it would be taken care of. The refund was not submitted. I bought a new dolly from a separate location, when I returned it I made sure to tell the associate that it was a dolly from a separate order from the truck. He told me 4-5 times, that it is taken care of. I check the app 3 days later and the dolly rental is still â€œin progressâ€. I call to have it fixed and am reassured it will be taken care of. Next day, the rental is still in progress. The third time I called it was finally taken care of. From Friday at 5pm until Tuesday at noon, I made roughly 10-12 calls to uhual regarding all these issues, the average hold time was 10-15 minutes with two that were above 30 minutes and 1 that was greater than one hour. The whole process was not very synced, no one was ever on the same page, and communication was minimal. The corporate locations are much better managed than the neighborhood dealers (vendors). All in all, this was one of the poorest experiences I've had as a customer within any industry. The decentralized aspect of the organization is a branding nightmare. As a result of the multitude of issues accumulated from renting a truck for 10 hours (a simple feat), I will not be returning as a customer.Vincent D.

Improve the check-in process. Was unable to return the truck on line. Stated that we did not have a rental. So dropped off the keys and left. The next morning Uhaul charged us for an extra day. Had to go back and talk with them about this. They were very helpful and eventually removed the extra charged. BUT was told that we should have left a note with the keys explaining the situation. This was an idiotic statement. There was no way we would have known 'we should have' left a note.william P.
Would appreciate a mask policy in place for customers and employees. Despite our real winner of a Texas governor lifting the mask mandate, most local Dallas business has chosen to maintain mask requirements.Ryan L.
Never been treated worse. They pressured me to â€œJust give me a fucking address, I don't care where it's from.â€ I had 3 people aggressively griping to me at once and were condescending when I expressed I was uncomfortable with giving them certain personal information. Never going back, which is a shame because I've been going there for almost 10 years. I'd rather use a different company. I'll also be leaving public reviews.ETHAN B.

Outstanding service. I rented a truck which I was unsure of when I could return the truck due to some logistics issues with picking up my cargo from DFW Customs.
