Prompt service at this location on pickup and return. I used U-Haul's mobile app for the first time to make the reservation and provide payment details and ID. Worked well.

This was a horrible experience and I will be contacting Uhaul to request a full refund. I have always rented from this location and have never had to pick up my van separately at a random Laundromat. I went to Uhaul offices on time and was made to wait for at least a half hour. When I finally got to the front desk I was directed to a nearby laundromat where my van was waiting the whole time. No one at Uhaul bothered to notify me of this! I went to the laundromat and the Uhaul representative had already left! So a random clerk who was not competent or qualified completed the paperwork so I could get the van. And it took another startling 30 minutes!!!! By the end of it all I had lost an entire hour because of Uhauls bureaucratic and disorganized subcontractor structure. When i went to pay the clerk told me she wasn't sure if she accidentally may have double charged me!!! I am really disappointed and will not be using Uhaul again without a full refund.

The pick-up of the vehicle took nearly an hour. The address supplied directed me to the main store on Windmill. When I tried to book the clerk first told me I was not in the system despite a email confirmation. When he finally found me he said I couldn't pick up a U-hail truck from the Uhaul store. He then waved his arms in the general direction of another location "over there". So I went over there to another group of Uhaul trucks. Another Uhaul employee directed me to another place where after another 30 minutes it was determined that wasn't the right place. Call the number on my reservation and - after it was finally answered - II was directed to a third location, the laundry/store. They didn't have my credit card information despite my having given it to Uhaul twice. after another frustrating 20 minutes I finally got the vehicle and thumped away to the many sounds of a poorly-maintained vehicle. Never again Uhaul, never again

When I arrived to pick up my vehicle I was told "the system" did not hold my credit card information I provided when I booked the previous day. So my vehicle was about to be given to someone else. If I had arrived 5 minutes later I would not have gotten my vehicle. This is unacceptable customer service. I booked the day before and provided my credit card to hold the vehicle and I almost didn't get my vehicle - which would have caused major stress and inconvenience at the fault of U-haul. And although I got my vehicle, a gentleman shows up 5 minutes after me and he was told his vehicle was just given to me. He was furious. If he had shown up before me it would have been me without the vehicle. This makes me weary of trusting U-haul in future.

It was strange that it was right across the street from another, much larger, Uhaul rental place. It was confusing because we ended up waiting in line for a while at the large uhaul place before realizing we were actually supposed to be at the convenience store one block away. Also, because it's a convenience store, they had to serve other customers while putting my uhaul request on hold (because it takes longer than other transactions). Not normally a big deal, but I was standing and waiting on a sprained knee. The clerk was very friendly and helpful, though he never mentioned anything about when it needed to be back, etc., which then later came as a surprise to us. Again, the clerk was very personable and nice, just don't know if that's a great location in general.
