I was to rent a truck to go 700 miles round trip and was quoted $150.32 plus $850 deposit Upon returning the vehicle I was charged a total of 310.15 saying I went over my total mileage I only put 700 miles on the vehicle and they refused to refund memy $150 deposit

Not being familiar with a gas station's layout, I got myself boxed in. There was an entrance and I figured the exit was on the other side. Nope, just a small parking lot for employees. The company's instructions were very specific: do not attempt to back up with a tow dolly; you can damage the truck, the dolly, or your car. So I'm stuck... I called the company's roadside assistance number and spoke with a very nice customer service rep. She listened to my tale of woe, and after consulting with her high-ups, several calls later informed me that they could send somebody out, but the cost would be MY responsibility! I asked why the hell I had gotten insurance for this transaction and was told that this particular situation was not covered. She then conferenced me in with a local wrecker service, who said he'd be glad to come out, but it would cost me $75-150. So I told the rep's supervisor, who was following up, that I would do it myself. I mentioned that there was probably some sort of liability issue involved, being as they were dealing with a 62-year old man with a pacemaker, and companies have been sued and lost for less. (John Morgan, are you listening?) What else could I do? I took the car down off the dolly and parked it, took the dolly off the truck and rolled it out of the way, backed the truck out, relocated the whole thing in another part of the lot (facing outward this time), and then put it back together. Meanwhile, the supervisor is trying to call me to follow-up while I'm under the car hooking up safety chains. I told her it was done, and I was going to take it to a local rental dealer to be inspected. Everything was just like it was supposed to be, except the straps needed to be tightened a little more.

no one tells you that the dolly in the truck was an extra cost.I think this should be told a customer at time of rental and not sprung on the customer after you get his credit card info and add the charge at the end

Picked up the truck the customer service rep went and filled up a propane tank instead of getting my reservation got the truck gas was improperly marked had to redo paperwork to correct the mistake

I went to pick up trailer on a Sunday and the employee seemed like he did not want to be there. I had to go and find the trailer myself and hook it up myself. Returned it on Monday and a different employee seemed like he didn't want to be there
