U haul has eally chage from the pass. the servive was great. I will do my church and bussiness with this location. I was in and out in less than ten min. When I return the van. i was out in 3min. this servise I like and will tell many others. Thank you!!!!!!!



Self check-in needs improvement. The customer is not sure how to proceed upon arrival at the store.

Didn't know what to expect from Candler Road on a busy end of October Saturday Although the young lady who was checking everyone in and out was fast and efficient she was only one person the line was almost out the door but she helped everyone as fast as possible with a smile and great service. I think if there were at least two people like her doing high-volume times it will be great and much faster. Overall great experience for my first time renting a U-Haul, besides the 20 30 minute check out wait time everything was easy. Candler Road location employees are setting the U-Haul service standards to high levels keep up the good work and thanks a lot for making that easy for me.



To have only one associate working the counter and one associate pulling vehicles and hooking up trailers on a Saturday morning, at the end of the month is totally unacceptable.

When I had some difficulty checking it back in as a result of a mistake on my part, the Customer Service agent was very pleasant, helped me understand my mistake and corrected it for me. Ridiculous wait times to check in for equipment (even with a reservation). Clerks are making calls to the renters cell phone number, and asking for a third party number to confirm renters identity. I'm renting with a CC, and Drivers License information, anywhere else that is enough. I rent with Hertz and Avis every week for business, not once did they ever request a phone number of a friend to confirm my identity. Embarrassing and unnecessary, I'll be adding this review to Yelp.



The U-Haul associate Crystal Johnson at 2505 Candler Rd, Decatur, GA 30032 was very nice, energy and passion for the position but there was an issue with lack of communication. The lack of explanation of the pricing of the truck; how much the truck would be hourly versus a full day and a one way amount. The agent regularly spoke over me and did not let me asked my question of the price difference of the 4hour rental versus the all-day rental and when I was finally able to asked my question, she did not answer it by continuing to state that I won’t save that much money. Crystal Johnson convinced me to purchase the one way all-day “17” truck rental and I also purchased a storage lock from her (because I planned to store some of my things there temporarily and then use U-Haul to move again) in which she forgot to give me the prices for U-Haul storage unites. Ms. Johnson neglected to inform me that the drop off facility at 3564 Wesley Chapel Rd e, Decatur, GA 30034 closed at 2:00 PM. Once we finished moving, I called Wesley Chapel Rd facility and they were closed so I then drove it back to the Candler rd. store. I was then informed it would be an extra cost if I return the truck back at that facility which I was not told upon rental purchase. I asked her, why you didn’t tell me the facility closed at 2:00 PM and she told that was not her job. I then said why you convinced me to purchase an all-day rental if the drop off facility closed at 2:00 PM and she then told me she did not know it closed at 2:00PM. I then told her that is vital information to give the customer if the truck rental is based on time and money and she then told me, that is not her job to provide the information of other facilities. I then tried to return the lock I purchased from her because I no longer needed the lock and she told me that I could not return it because I didn’t’ have the receipt. I explained to her I purchased it from you when I purchased the truck but she still said NO, I didn’t have time to speak more about the lock because I wanted to return the truck to another facility before it closed. During this whole ordeal, Ms. Johnson was not there but was speaking loudly through the phone with another male agent who was sitting there with me with other customers and staff members around listening to all of this. She was over talking me to the point my fiancé had to ask her to calm down and stop talking over me loudly and respect the customer. I then had to drive the truck to another facility and put more gas in the truck. This whole ordeal was very unprofessional, embarrassing, a break down in the communication and plus it was not preformed properly. I felt rushed, not in full understanding of the rental and that she did not take responsibility nor ownership of her actions nor the business. I would like to return this lock for full compensation and the inconvenience was so great that it cost time, money and away from my children and family. This comment is not to
