I didnt like the fact the truck was on E when i got it. I didn't even get credit for the gas i left in it 1/8 and you all wanted me to leave 1/4 in it. I still should have gotten credit on what gas waa left if i got the truck in E had ro go straight to the gas station when i picked up the truck. I didn't like that at all. The brakes were horrible.

I paid for a hand truck and it was not on the truck , I had to go back and get it . I had to go look for the vehicle myself without any help from the employees and I was disappointed about that, no help.

It has been eight days since I rented a van I have yet to be reimbursed $26.45. When I called three days after the day of rental the person answering the phone at the location I rented from was just a little bit smart mouth. At first I was told 3 days, then I was told five days. If not reimbursed I should talk to my bank. I want my money back now!!!

I went to this location on time to pick the truck Mohammed had the people with reservations wait for over an hour telling us there is no truck, while waiting on that long line I called the memorial drive location to find out if they had available truck, they did not, I normally go to that location since I lived right across the street I wanted a painless moving I went straight across the street, when Mohammed finally got to me he explained I have to make sure the gas on the truck is as seeing on the paper, because if I don’t return it half I will be charge $30, he also told me make sure the furniture cover sheets are folded back up or I will be charge $25, keep the truck clean and try to bring it back by 4:00 pm, he never explained I will be doubled charge, when I returned the truck after 5:00 pm I was doubled charged I asked to speak to a manager she was not in, while the cashier was talking to me the manager called, she explained the situation to her, the manager feedback said if my name was not on the contract she would’ve been able to do something about it as if Mohammed gave me a choice to sign or not to sign, I will calling the corporate office on the next business day. Such an horrible experience, I don’t think I would ever use U-Haul or recommend it again.

This location was 20 miles from chosen location and cost me at least an extra hour in driving time plus mileage costs. It took me 20 minutes to pick up and 15 to drop off. I am not sure I would recommend uhaul generally.

My overall experience was good. I was greeted by a Miss Jackson, checked in by a Can’t you show me with no name tag am finally issued a refund by the owner who is lackluster but not unkind or unfriendly overall the facility could use a little bit more cleaning had a slight odor in the van. This is my second visit and I would come back again and I would recommend it thank you. Have more representatives available to assist customers in the morning. When I arrived to return my truck there were several customers there to either return or pick up a rental. The young lady that was there did a great job of assisting customers.

I would suggest, if going to this location please go before 3p.m. because the men had already left for the day. I was there with two young ladies who were in training and they had no ideal of how to hook the equipment up. The young lady told me to go to YOUTUBE is what her boss would suggest for hooking up the auto dolly to my car.

My recommendation for improvement is the check in process in finding the vehicle on the lot that you are renting. It took us a few minutes to find it due to it not being where the customer agent said it was. The consolation is she did come out onto the lot to help us find it.. Other, I was very satisfied.

The customer service at this location is horrible. The staff are not very well informed or trained. Trying to get assistance from the General Manager is the biggest waste of time I have ever seen. First when I went to pick up my U haul it was not available at the reserved time. Next, I was given a card by the staff that had the General Managers number that I called several times only to go straight to a voicemail that was full 3 days in a row. Lastly once I returned my Uhaul I was charged an additional 41.00 with out any explanation eve the receipt didn’t add up and the service representative said there nothing I can do. Tried to contact the General Manager regarding the matter all I got was a full voicemail and no response piss poor service from a piss poor manager

1. Wash & clean vehicles inside and/or out when needed. The vehicle I got this time was clean. However, the last time I rented from this location, the outside was filthy. When I asked the rental agent to give me a clean/cleaner one, she stated that none of the vehicles are washed... I wasn't successful in getting a different vehicle. 2. Make sure, at minimum, windshields & windows are clean for the next customer. The windows were okay this time but the last time I rented from this location the windshiel was so filthy & full of bugs, I couldn't see to drive off the lot. This is the same vehicle noted above as very dirty, but the windshield deserves special mention since it becomes a safety issue when you're unable to see through it. Since I wasn't able to get switched to another vehicle, I asked the rental agent to have someone at least wash the windshield. She went out immediately & cleaned it herself but copped just enough attitude to convey her irritation. 3. Thoroughly inspect moving parts (such as doors) & make repairs before renting vehicle. There was a problem with the passenger door this time. Half the time, it wouldn't open or unlock from either the inside or outside. Had to keep trying until it would finally open or we would give up and enter through the driver's side. 4. Ensure the radio is turned off before renting the vehicle. When I turned the ignition on, the radio volume was so high, I nearly had a heart attack and my drums blown out. 5. Document damage inside the cab. I found a cigarette burn on the driver's seat, and the visor on the passenger side was entirely missing (broken off). Before leaving the lot, I reported the damage and was told "We don't keep track of anything inside the cab." In all fairness, the Candler location doesn't seem to be sufficiently staffed. Being under-staffed can obviously negatively impact existing staff, provision of services, & customers. In conclusion. I will weigh convenience against customer service in deciding whether to return to the Candler location. I may opt to use the U-Haul on Memorial at Columbia next time. I've rented there twice & think they do a better job maintaining their vehicles. It's better staffed so they're able to do more & have less stress.
