The store owner was very rude to me the truck had 1/4 tank of gas and he said it had a 1/2 tank and no one checked anything when I rented it like the other places I've rented from in the past and no I will never ever go to lucky 7 again

Do not returned your rental to this place they do not known what professionalism means



Someone made a mistake when the vehicle was picked up. It was incorrectly setup as as "in-town", when I clearly reserved for 1-way (I have email confirmations). I was billed twice as much on return. I have been trying to correct their mistake for 16 months and nobody seems to want to accept their mistake.

The man who took my information was rude and seemed like he wanted to rob me of my money rather than try and help me save money. I would definitely never go back to rent from this guy again.

Had a reservation for 2:00 pm, but agent didn't know how to check us in. Waited for an outside employee to help, didn't receive truck until 3 hours later @ 5:00.

When I got to Lucky 7 No 2 site they acted like they did not know I was coming. They ran my credit card and told me that it was denied. I gave them a second credit card and they told me it was denied and I needed cash. I gave the cash to pay for the truck then they told me that their printer was not working and they could not give me any paperwork. I ask then to give me something for a receipt and they wrote out a paper with the amount and the 800 number for U-Haul. They gave me the key for the truck and told me it was in back. Nobody went with me to the truck and we did not do a walk around. I needed the truck so I just left with the truck. When we got to Wasco my wife told me that the truck only had one headlight. I opened the back of the truck and the bed was dirty and they were glass shards on the floor. I am not happy with this U-haul site. But I must say the Kings Canyon U-Haul was great and very helpful. I have done business with U-haul several times and I like your company, but the Lucky 7 No 2 was not good. Levi Luce

The attentant was extremely rude. He was on a personal phone call, so it took him about a half hour to check me in. When I went to return the trailer, it was the same rude clerk. He said his computers were down, and sent me to return at another location. The other location was closed. I called the regional office, who informed me that if I had returned at the other location, there would have been an additional charge. I went back to the location and it turned out his computers were not down at all. He said he didn't have room for the trailer and that's why he had sent me away! I was able to return the trailer, but it was a huge hassle, and I will NEVER rent from that location again. Nor will I recommend it. They are absolutely horrible, the most unprofessional business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

I don't recommend this drop-off location. The employee in the store wanted me to disengage the trailer hookup from my truck myself! I was so shocked that I started calling the roadside maintenance since nobody knows in the drop-off location how to take off the trailer. I was so disappointed with U-Haul.

What can I say? U-haul made my move a bit too easy. I was completety impressed with the price and the service I received, and would gladly recommend them to my friends.



Have a computer ready at the time of pickup.I had to wait for over an hour because they did not have a computer on hand.

The rental agent encountered repeated computer problems which involved web browser crashes, computer reboots, etc. The rental process took over an hour to complete. Since the single employee was also running a busy gas station and Mini-Mart, we often had to pause for him to complete a store transaction or assist a gas customer, and in the end I was seated at the U-Haul internal reservation system and completed the process myself after a few more web browser crashes. On the plus side, your rental agent interface is very easy to use.

Good running vehicle - horrible customer service particularly at my final destination in Atascadero, CA. I called the U-Haul office this morning to share my outrage. Clearly U-Haul is not an organization that supports Total Quality Management. If you did I'd be a happy, satisfied customer. What can you do to improve for the next customer? Find a new venue in Atascadero and another in Delano. Let workers know that without customers, they do not have a job. It's never okay to call a customer and yell, "the truck is filthy, you owe me $30; the tank is 3/4 full, you owe me $30; you'd better get over here and clean it out and fill up the tank before the morning." I repeat do not do this especially when the truck was not left filthy and it was returned with 3/4 full because that is what is was when I received it.
