Key lock for the back of the truck was broken, so I had to purchase my own--just make sure those work for next time. employees were kind and attentive and took care of everything well.

No improvement necessary, everything ran like clockwork for me today, Katie and Stephanie were great, knowledgeable, proficient and professional. The truck was perfect for our needs and the turn in was fast and easy. Recently I rented from Budget and didn't have nearly so positive an experience.

We were charged more at this location then we were told we would be charged and then told we would have to get a refund when we dropped it off. Which apparently they were supposed to give us the refund. Not helpful. They were very lazy.

Mike helped greatly as did the two tech installers (Tristan, and the other). They were great and went the extra mile to be professional. All in all where ever you go Uhaul is Uhaul is Uhaul. But its nice to encounter a place with a lot of very "common" franchises with one run by and with first class humans, nice people, that really stand out from the ordinary.

First problem: No one bothered to advise me that your trailers have no stop that prevents the doors from going up high enough that they can no longer be closed. Nor did they inform me clearly of how this could be corrected. The GM promised to come by my loading location later that afternoon. After waiting for help 5 hours, he advised me by text I should call your Hotline. They responded within an hour and showed me how to correct this issue. Second problem: No one mentioned that the safety chains should be checked after loading to make certain they were not hanging too low. When I got to a rest stop in Minnesota I noticed that the chains were filed down from scraping the highway concrete because they were not strung tight enough initially to keep them off the ground when the trailer was loaded. Since these are a safety mechanism, my safety was possibly affected by this failure. None of your literature mentions this either as I read the entire pamphlet on using trailers -- it's all about loading and how to drive and handle problems while driving. Both of these problems could have been prevented with adequate and informed communication. Do you have a quality improvement program? From the customer standpoint it appears you do not and you are losing both money and customer goodwill by letting unnecessary quality issues happen. Your money add your reputation: ELIMINATE PROBLEMS THAT ARE PREVENTABLE

I will NEVER rent from UHaul again, especially from this UHaul store. We had broken down on our trip and were given two extra days by Stephanie in customer service/roadside assistance as we lost out on moving help because of the breakdown. When we took the truck and trailer back, they tried to charge us for the extra days given us. We told them no, we weren't going to pay as we were given the extra days. The manager was supposed to call me that night or the next day. Never did. I called him, left a voicemail to call me, he never did. Now I am being charged 107.09 a month later. I have told my credit card company not to pay it as I am disputing it. I will not pay it. VERY poor customer service by this store.

This was an absolute nightmare and the General Manager is completely irresponsible. He left a young girl with very little experience alone in the store on the last Friday of the 1st Summer month. She had no idea how to handle the line of people and was incredibly slow. When it was finally our turn, she thought absolutely nothing of informing us that the 5 dozen furniture pads I had reserved along with the truck and appliance dolly some 3 weeks earlier had been given to another customer AND NOT REPLACED ON SITE FOR US ... earlier in the day. She actually expected us to take the truck and go drive all over town to various other UHauls to try to find pads. The General Manager's card was on the desk so we called him directly and he was even worse. Could not have cared less. Said he would be there shortly and would take care of it. We wasted 2.5 hours waiting around for him to resolve this the night before we were supposed to move. When we got tired of waiting for him, we went to another store that the girl said had the pads, only to get there and be told they had them, had not spoken to the store, and wouldn't give them to us because they were reserved for another customer. Finally, the GM came up with 55 of the 60 we had ordered and said he could comp the entire move - the truck, the pads, the dolly, everything I had ordered and already paid for. I told him I was skeptical. He assured me he would take care of it last Sunday. Instead he sent me another bill for $90 in addition to what I had already paid. He should be fired. He has no customer service skills, couldn't care less about the people trusting UHaul to be part of what is already a stressful situation. I have never had a bad UHaul experience until now. This guy is a joke and the young woman was untrained. I want my money back!

Get your trucks in working order before you rent them out! I shouldn't have had to make an emergency stop at a gas station to add oil to your truck almost immediately after getting on the road. I will never use U-haul again for any move!

After i picked up the trailer and got to my destination to load it, we noticed there was a lock on the trailer. I called the location to let them know, they wanted me to bring the trailer back so they could cut it off. I was too far from the location to bring it back. I found a place close and had the lock cut off. there was some trash in the trailer that i cleaned out as well. The only complaint i have is, the trailer was not checked out when it was returned from the previous customer. Uhaul states a customer will be charged if the trailer is not cleaned out.
