I would like to launch a formal complaint about this location. I arrived at 10:00 AM on Saturday August 9th to pick up my trailer for my move across the city. No one was there - I waited for about 15 minutes, and then decided to call the number. No one picked up and then a few minutes later I get a call from a random number not associated with the uhaul location. It was the person who is supposed to work there. They didn't speak english well so it took some time to understand the situation. Apparently this person just decided to not show up to work and told me they had to help a friend of theirs with something and then proceeded to ask me to find and hook up the trailer myself. Normally, this potentially wouldn't be an issue, however, the location of my trailer in this location proved to be extremely problematic. I would like to preferance that while I am somehow able-bodied, I am a 100% service-connected disabled veteran and suffer from many injuries due to my time and service. My trailer was located behind the much heavier 12 foot trailer, and also closely wedged between a 18 wheeled truck and a personal vehicle, also the entire location is gravel, which makes heavy objects on wheels, such as these trailers, much much harder to move. So after about 30 minutes of slowly inching the larger trailer blocking my trailer one inch at a time across the gravel, and straining my back in the process, which I am now going to have to go to my VA doctor about since it is still giving me trouble, I was able to just barely get my trailer and hook it up myself, with no help. Then the uhaul employee, still texting me from a personal number, asked me to take all the required photos for them, and then I had to submit my license and everything through the Uhaul app while he was on the phone so he could process it. To me this was extremely unprofessional and caused me a lot of extra effort and pain to do myself. The easy answer would have been to not do this and go to a different uhaul location, but I was on an extremely tight timeline for my move out and didn't have time to go to another location. I would like to speak to someone in a management position at Uhaul and talk through this situation personally, because again, it was wildly unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never be using this location again, and do not feel great about the idea of using Uhaul again for future moves both personally and professionally.

There was no one at the location to provide us with the key as the app had instructed, we had to call for someone from the google location’s number to arrive and we finally got the truck 30 minutes into the reservation. The truck had no gas, not the quarter tank it claimed, so we had to go to the gas station immediately. Would book at a different location next time.
