this uhaul location was completely unmarked with absolutely no way to discern where i was supposed to go. I drove around aimlessly for 15 minutes until a man appeared near a uhaul. I asked him if he was the uhaul guy and he nodded. when i talked to him it quickly became apparent that he barely knew english which made the process much more difficult. I paid and when i finally drove away 30 minutes later, I got in the truck and the “service airbag” warning was on. I needed the uhaul then and there and the man disappeared so I drove away with the warning on. the warning was so persistent that when i tried to record the mileage when i returned the truck, the warning wouldnt let me see the mileage. when i completed the return of the truck i was asked if the charges looked right and i said no, because i had already been charged $150 at rental and was then charged an additional $140 with no indication as to why. The entirety of this process has been difficult, confusing, frustrating and expensive for no reason. theres no reason i should have paid nearly $300, ESPECIALLY for a truck with a “service air bag” warning on. thats insane.

First of all, there is no store/office at this location. It's just a guy who hops out of his truck and checks in using his personal phone. He was not fluent in english and me not knowing any spanish at all, we had a really hard time running the transaction. He kept saying "I dont know" and "if you can't do, no rental" when we ran into technical difficulties while he was checking me in. I literally had to do the check in for him. I chose the option of pay at store, and him not knowing how to use the uhaul app, I had to figure everything out. The guy was just incredibly rude, and was ready to cancel my reservation just because he couldn't figure out how to use the app to check me in. Please do not let him rent.

Asil AKeep reservations open and don’t cancel just because I’m late. If you do cancel my reservation, at least save it so I don’t have to enter every piece of information again. Also, make it easier to know how many gallons to put in the tank at the end of a rental. At least publish the tank capacity so I can do the math on the number of gallons to put in.
