When i picked it up, the truck had the gas tank cut open and the fuel syphoned out of it. Picked it up on almost empty. Then had to wait 5 more hours to get it fixed, delaying my entire move instead of swapping trucks due to company policy. Youd think someone would do a basic check of the truck before someone picks it up. Also, had to drive over an hour to pick up the truck, they called me 24hours prior to my reservation to tell me they suddenly didnt have the truck I reserved a month ago. All in all: check the trucks, have them where you say youll have them, and if a truck has a maintenance issue and there are 4 other identical trucks on the lot, just swap me instead of making me wait hours. Worst experience ive ever had with uhaul.

Hard to rate this location, as it was closed the day of pick-up (unbeknownst to me and was not advised of until I had called the U-Haul Dispatch Operator); and not the original location for the pick-up request/reservation (which was changed the day prior to picking up and less than ideal) . Because the location was changed prior to pick-up and was not advised of that it’d be closed, a digital pick-up was required and took close to 2hrs (not including the 1hr+ drive time, one way) due to poor cell reception/app connectivity. Would have been more convenient for the CUSTOMER to have picked-up in Tucson… If equipment was not possible at the location requested per the reservation, the U-Haul website should not have presented it as an option. The reservation and pick-up experience left much to be desired and was truly awful, but can’t be blamed on the employees of this location, since I had no interaction with them.

GABRIEL VCustomer service reps at the storage unit have zero customer service skills. It’d be nice if they would at least be friendly. I understand that it is a self service and they have nothing to do with U-Haul but friendly attitudes would make it more of a positive interaction.
