Clean the van before renting out to others

When you ask for a second, alternate phone number, for someone to call if it isn't returned on time, let the renter know that such person needs to be near their phone at the time. I had to try 3 different people who were all doing errands and not picking up phone before I drove to one of their houses to tell them to get their phone. It wasted my time and yours.

My experience with U-Haul was great. The only problem I encountered was I was given the wrong 4 digit code to get my key out of the lockbox. Luckily the building manager was already there and was able to give me the correct one. Apparently I was given an old code. I rented the 10' box truck and it drove great and the a/c worked well. Will definitely use these devices again if I need them.

It took 4 phone calls to get the reservation and confirmation cometed. The reservation agent did not explain the need to download app before pickup and that the facility was closed. It was a difficult way to rent a vehicle. I have rented many throughout the years. I would explore other options before renting from U-Haul again.

I rented this truck because I bought furniture and when I went to the store to pick it up the bed of the truck was full of water there was no way I could put my new furniture and rug in the bed of that truck . The store was kind enough to put down cardboard boxes for me so I could get my furniture then I had to find a place to dispose of the big cardboard boxes I think I need to be reimbursed some of the money . I was told these trucks are running out to workers who the plowing and shoveling and that what is why the bed was wet. This is not fair to the next person!

Everything was great at the facility where I rented the truck. After that it was all downhill receiving texts on top of texts from the company was quite annoying. STOP, Next time I rent I will block the number guaranteed.

I would recommend A1 to others, but my recommendation would be for them to take more care in providing your customers with a clean vehicle. When I got home after picking the van up, I immediately had to wash all of the windows.

The overall experience was very easy and went smoothly. I would just make a few recommendations.. 1) Please notify the customer to bring their I-pass or have money for tolls. There was nothing listed about how the Uhaul would be covered during the registration process. 2) Please notify the customer that there is no parking on the A1 site. This was unexpected and caused a small inconvenience. We had to locate parking down the street near the apartment complex. Other than that, I had a positive experience. Thank you.
