When we got to the facility, the door was locked and a sign said gone to lunch. Back at 1:30. We got there at 1:34. Waited 45 minutes in the heat to pick up the trailer. We also had a reservation to pick it up at 2:00. He returned at 2:20.
WESLEY SAlthough I believe this location is well-maintained and the staff were helpful, I’m very disappointed with my overall U-Haul experience. I was unexpectedly redirected at the last minute due to my original pickup location being closed on the day of my rental — a situation that was entirely out of my control. As a result, I was forced to pick up the truck at a farther location, which added extra miles and unexpected costs. I was assured over the phone that I would be compensated for the inconvenience, but that never happened. I spent over two hours at the location dealing with the issue, only to leave without any resolution or reimbursement. The experience felt disorganized, and I’m extremely frustrated at having to pay nearly double what I originally anticipated. The lack of accountability and follow-through on promises made the situation even more disappointing.
