Earlier this spring I rented a truck from the same location excellent service excellent customer care... My experience this time renting a truck was they really didn't care... did know where the trucks were.... didn't clean them.. didn't really have any interest in the customer. An example is, instead of giving the keys she made me go outside to a lockbox and get the keys out of it

I had reserved the truck and trailer online and checked in that morning to make sure I wouldn't have to wait long for pickup at the UHAUL location. We ended up waiting 45 minutes as the customer service rep had to re-enter it all. No fault of theirs, but just frustrating because we were on a limit. Otherwise, very friend staff and the rental return went smooth.

Employees are very lax about wearing masks. I had to ask the general manager to mask up and one young female employee flat out refused. I do not feel safe in this location during a pandemic.


The 800 number has too long of a wait time.

I downloaded the UHaul smartphone app because It was supposed to SCAN something at UHaul that would expedite the pickup/drop off by cutting wait time to get me on the road quicker. Well... I waited a long time for the person ahead of me to finish. No help from the app there. Then my time was just as long and I had the "App". What's the point of having a UHaul App that isn't used at UHaul?

Ok. When I ordered my truck in-person, I discovered later on my computer that the initial representative added things I did not order. Such as a 39 dollar truck verses 29. And more time and mileage were added. This type of upsetting is very deceptive and brings your company a bad reputation because one of your employees is looking to make a few extra bucks on.people that are non tech savvy. Shame on you Uhaul. You are better than this.

The didn't tell us that our hitch was upside down, and helped us connect the trailer to our hitch improperly, causing the connection to be unbalanced and unsafe, with the connection constantly pushing and pulling against the car. We had to stop at a uhaul place 2 hours down the road, who immediately identified the problem of our hitch being upside down and fixed the issue. That other dealer also noticed that the uhaul lights were not connected properly to our car, and fixed the one connection that was faulty. We never should have been able allowed to drive out of the first uhaul location with lights that weren't fully connected and with the trailer attached to the hitch that was upside down.


Make sure the brakes are serviced and working on your trailers before you rent them to customers! I found out AFTER it was all loaded driving down the highway that they didn't work and were locking up pulling into a kwick trip parking lot.... not to happy. Im due to have my brakes serviced due to excessive weight being applied to them, if theres damage i will be in contact with corporate!

The location was unacceptable!!! I don't know why I had to drive 500 miles for my rental, and not to mention the $175 in fuel that I had to spend for my pick-upssssss (two of them). I reserved a truck and a vehicle carrier and the vehicle cattier was not available and I had to return the next day when they had one available. Thus the 500 miles for the pick-up and the extra cost in fuel that I had to spend, not to mention the time that I spent to retrieve my reservation, 8.5 hours. THIS TOTALLY SUCKED AS_!!!!!

There is a mask mandate in the state of Wisconsin. Regardless of beliefs or political values all people should adhere to the mandate if possible. This should count toward your associates as well. I felt disrespected that I wear a mask to protect those around me while one of your associates found it not necessary. She was the middle aged red haired lady. The younger lady that assisted me was very pleasant and professional. Please don't have a sign on your door stating requirements that associates don't follow.

When I entered the building, there were two gentleman not wearing face coverings to recognize and follow the COVID mask rules in Wisconsin. One of the men was coughing while he was waiting in the store.
