This location is in a very sketchy area. Was told there was a drop box for the key when there actually isn't. I had to walk around the block a couple of times before actually going inside a convenience store to ask someone where it was. Thats where the cashier told me he takes the keys. I was also being charged an extra $800 because my kilometers stated I drove the unit over 15,000 kms. I drove it from Vancouver island to Edmonton, that's not 15,000 kms. The odometer at pick up on the contract stated I got it with 20,000 some kms on it. Obviously the person who had it last did not check it in properly or at all.

There was a used sanitary pad covered in blood lying around inside the van. We had to clean it up ourselves and breathe in the smell of urine and blood. Ugh.

Ohileobo UWhen I went to pick up the truck it was an unsafe location with people doing drugs right in the store while another guy was studying his pockets with lighters. When I returned the truck a resident of the building was trying to fight me for a parking spot, physically coming to the truck window as well as my personal vehicle. I will NEVER go here again. The truck had low tire lights on, the brakes were in terrible condition and it was a very poor experience. I don't think I'd rent from U-Haul again after this. It's one thing to have a used truck that's well used but another to be in danger over it.

He was courteous enough to help with charging my phone and provided me a place to rest until the Uber I arranged for arrived. 5 star service and exemplary U-Haul customer service.
