The employee at the location was awesome. My issues were with U-Haul! First… I had a 10 am reservation, when I arrived the business was closed. There was a U-Haul lock box that appeared to possibly contain the keys as there were multiple locks. No one ever advised me that there was a lock combination or how to go about obtaining the key to the truck that was parked in the parking lot. I called U-Haul.. and guess what? 3 hour wait to speak to a representative?? There was an option to get a call back… however 3 hours is unacceptable!! I had a schedule I had to keep as I was moving over an hour and a half away. Luckily, an employee at that location showed up to open the business and was kind enough to assist. When I advised I was calling U-Haul, they literally laughed and said that’s a waste of time you’ll get no help! If it wasn’t for this person showing up almost 50 minutes after my scheduled pick up time I’m willing to bet my entire net worth that I would be stranded due to U-Haul not having the customer service support they should have. I will honestly never rent a truck from U-Haul again, lost a customer to Penske. Last move I rented from them due to no availability from U-Haul, and I should have again

Alexander CA live person on site is desperately needed. The frustration encountered with the key lock etc. No one there to answer your questions as well. I will be disputing my charges too. I traveled 5 miles and returned the vehicle with sufficient gas and was charged $95.00!!!!! Completely ridiculous
Candie LI was told that my rate would not change after it was switched to a further location and I got charged an extra 27 dollars. So I will never be using you guys again you guys lied to me and that’s some straight up lack of communication between providers of equipment. Or you guys are just a bunch of BS Liars. Now if you really truly care about what your customers have to say. You will shoot me a call after reading this. God bless
JOHN AThe outside of the truck was beat up and had many repair stickers on it. The inside was clean and well maintained. Took extra photos to capture all of the repair stickers and dents. Requested a furniture dolly and pads but they were not in the truck or a cage nearby that the key may have opened. The online pick up was easy and drop off went smoothly with a refund for the dolly and pads but had to get those elsewhere since we ordered our truck before store opening. U-haul wanted us to wait the hour and a half but we scheduled the truck early for a reason. Overall, the experience wasn’t horrible, just disappointing.
