The person I dealt with at pick up was very disinterested in what he was doing. He wasn't friendly, barely spoke to me at all, then proceeded to tell me it isn't his job to hitch the trailer to the car (I've been renting trailers with Uhaul for years and it's always been done for me). The trailers and vans are also parked just in the corner of the lot in all the overgrowth. I would use them again if I had to, but it's a bit of a hostage situation because I've got to go where the trailer is.
Jonathan BBooked to drop off my U-Haul in Enderby instead of Salmon Arm as it said it would save money. When I got to the location, I asked the person where I should drop it off and was informed I couldn’t because I didn’t have a reservation. Thankfully, I was then able to phone U-Haul and have a reservation added for the location as my reservation only indicated Enderby. When I then went inside to confirm and ask where to leave the keys he said to leave them inside the truck. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the keys in the truck so I phoned U-Haul again to confirm drop-off and was told the person inside should take them. After letting the person inside know I was told to bring them to them, they then took the keys. Overall, the help and instruction from this drop off location was less than ideal.
