I was forced to pick up the trailer early and pay for an extra day. While I understand that was because of thanksgiving I think something could've been done to reduce the cost for me, being that I was forced into it, and not told when I made the reservation.

I rent at this facility often and have had excellent experiences in the past. Unfortunately, the trailer I recently rented (which came from California) had a short in the brake/running lights which caused blown fuses to my truck. This defect caused an inability to use the trailer into the evening hours as planned, since it would be unsafe. Ultimately, my rental was a waste of time and money due to the facility/roadside service being unable to service the equipment at that time. The staff at the facility were still very helpful and the facility otherwise clean and nicely organized. My recommendation would be for improved fleet maintenance and routine inspections of wiring - especially on units that have come across country from other states.

I was really unhappy with the check out procedure. I've rented a lot of U-Hauls and now you want *ME* to take a picture of the front and back of my license with phone. I tried, the webpage didn't work. On a previous visit, a secondary contact was demanded and the representative CALLED the number to verify the person existed. AVIS, Hertz, nobody does this. If you don't trust me with your equipment, DO NOT RENT IT TO ME. I've rented enough times that you have HISTORY. Not only that, it doubles the time it takes to check out a vehicle. If I'm the only one in line, great, I never am. So, my last two rentals have been for work. I will notify my supervisor that U-Haul makes it complicated to quickly rent a trailer (with the insurance, mind you) and instead of me making a quick trip to storage with a U-Haul, I'm probably just going to hire a local mover. It's more expensive, but it's pretty clear you don't like your customers and you don't value our time.

Employees were arguing with each other during checkout. Significant wait until helped. Initially charged for wrong items. Employee at checkin was very helpful. Van worked well and no issues with equipment

Legally. There is a reasonable expectation that your vehicle is clean and properly maintained. You have only met one of the standards. The van’s running board was covered in ice and I damaged my right shoulder and arm getting into the van initially. Unfortunately, for u-haul, I do not walk with my eyes and head facing the ground. I did not see the ice on the running board. My feet slipped off the board causing injury to myself. I notified your staff on return of the vehicle, and they really did not care. U-haul should hope for no long lasting damage to my right shoulder and arm. We have pictures of the running board.

I was given a auto transport for a vehicle I never said I was towing...the mix up was the fault of the Reservation department and when I realized the problem they refused to give back my money and made me pay for a two day rental I never used...I didnt pick up the trailer my spouse did so when I got home and saw it wasnt right I took it right back and they could careless about what happened...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Staff organized even if the system for check-out wasn't. Because of the delays I wasn't compensated for the time and instead of receiving a full 4 hours for rental-I had to return the truck in 3 hours 15 minutes!

Was not told when reserving truck that a reference call would be made, therefore I had not prepared a friend or family member to answer a call. The representative at the store was rude and obviously hated his job. Customer service was terrible, the representative was rude and had poor hygiene.

Check in to get the truck took about 30 mins. The new policy of having to call someone who knows you and that will answer their phone is ridiculous! Overall a pretty bad experience.

Checked tire pressure and found all tire pressure low on trailer tires. Also had to drive around to three different locations due to misscommunication.

I was given a trailer that was not rated for my truck, then the trailer failed it caused about $6000 of damage to my truck, uhaul refused to tow my and my truck back to my house and I was stranded in a different state for about 2 days. Absolutely unacceptable service, extremely rude gm at the Englewood location and people who just do t care about you at all. Would not recommend and i never will. That was my first and last time using uhaul

Get a different general manager. Employees seem overworked and underappreciated. Andre was awesome, but the truck was short 2 quarts of oil. Everytime my wife and I are at this location, everyone seems misserab. I cannot wait to close out our storage account.
