The cleanliness of the truck upon pick up was subpar. The guest service representative was very friendly, however I feel as though they aren't trained on all idiosyncrasies of the rental process, which resulted in extra charges and a cash deposit when I reserved with a credit card. It would also be good customer service/ busyness representation to have the vehicle fuel level at full. I'm sure you can understand the frustration of picking up a truck and having to add fuel after your first stop, or more annoyingly try and guess how much fuel to add before you return the truck. As someone who rents Uhauls monthly, guessing how much gas to put in the truck adds another layer of frustration to the rental process. I also have yet to pick up a truck that is properly maintained, they all have some sort of indicator light displayed on the dash which is disconcerting.
Jesse SI was not informed of the 20 extra fee prior to renting. I returned early. They didnt check anything or provide me with receipt upon leaving the truck / store. I didnt recieve a receipt until the next day. Compared to other stores I have rented from it was not a great experience. She said it was $20 extra because I did not fill out my return online. I would never go back there again.
Julia AThe truck was filthy. The sun visor was broken. I had to go to another location for a dolly and the mileage cost was absolutely ludicrous. I can’t see using UHaul again. You used to be a great company to work with, but not any more.
Peter GYou charged me on extra fuel while I returned the vehicle with the same amount of fuel. I have provided a photo and they promised to get back to me and refurn the fuel extra amount I paid. Thanks to check and get back to me. Regards
