KRISTIAN CThe gentleman at this location was extremely helpful in getting the hitch lock opened with a different set of keys from another lock. The location of rental had given me the wrong keys to my hitch lock which I discovered upon return in Escondido.
TAMARA RRetrain your staff. Within 5 minutes of leaving, driving city roads well below 40mph, I had the trailer detach from my truck’s hitch while driving, causing it to wobble and sway all over the road. Thankfully nobody was hurt, and I have experience towing, but if I had gotten on the highway it could have been catastrophic. Upon inspection, the clam that twists to tighten the trailer onto my hitch ball was completely loose, and unsecured. Your team did not tighten and finish setting up the equipment despite assurances to the contrary at my departure. I had also requested a discount or some some of recompense for the mishap, and it was agreed over the phone that I would receive one. I did not. I also did not receive an apology, nor anyone asking if my equipment or myself were okay. I’m beyond dissatisfied.
