Worst experience have ever had with a rental truck. This truck could kill or injure someone. Think carrier bearings went out? Shook like a bucking bronco and truck came off the ground on grooved concrete. Told U-haul in Fort Collins that if they drove truck on interstate I-25 they would park on side of road and have it towed in. Had to drive on back roads on asphalt (not on I-25) where truck did not jump up and down. Saved uhaul thousands of dollars by letting them know about defective truck. That way another customer did not load defective truck and they would have had to unload their stuff to another truck because this truck very dangerous. Much personal property damaged. Was able to repair quite a bit of the damaged personal property but have filed a claim with Rep West Insurance so insurance pay for the damaged personal property that could not be repaired. Examples: dishes packed in newspaper inside cardboard boxes broke, screws from tables, buffets, dressers, bed frame, paper towel holders all came unscrewed because of the shaking and were rolling around on the truck floor. Destroyed to gorgeous floor lamps by shaking out the weight in the bottoms of the lamps, shook out the screws that held wooden drawers in place in one of the buffets, tore off one door in the kitchen buffett and the list goes on. Never seen anything like it - and I have rented a lot of moving trucks. Wife is doing research on cost of damaged property that can't be repaired. Could not drink water out of water bottles because of shaking. Truck dash shaking so hard to read dash. Seemed like eyeballs were shaking out of your head. This bad shaking/truck jumping started when was getting close to Denver. Uhaul rental place in Fort Collins gave me the wrong phone number to file a claim. Had to call uhaul to get correct phone number to file claim. Pretty bad experience. Scary.

They didn’t know I was coming, they weren’t available. I waited about 40 mins for them to return. Once they were there, we had to wait for their computer to boot. They admitted it was an old computer with issues. What should have taken a few minutes took over an hour. The fuel was incorrect on the computer than what was really in the truck. The truck was clean.
