The entire experience was horrible and the worst I have service I have ever received. I have moved over 40 times in my life and used various companys. Uhaul was deplorable, customer service was poor. No communication and representatives were rude and ignorant. The only saving grace was a young woman at Coombs Island Storage. Valentina! She was excellent and tried her best to solve our problem. She went above and beyond. The rest of your employees could take a page or two out of her book. This was a long distance one way move for my son of 22 and the stress due to lack of communication from Uhaul was very emotionally draining. It also caused him to lose furniture that had to be replaced at the other end. Our cost.!!! Uhaul later stated that they cannot guarentee yoursize of truck that you order. However when you need a 20 foot truck you need a 20 foot truck not a 10 foot truck. Don't tell us the day before either. Booking 3 people for the same truck, or not record the return date properly? Unacceptable. It is cheaper to buy a trailer use and sell it at the other end than go through this company.

HAYLEY HPlease refill fuel before customer pick up also I have requested dolly for my moving but it wasn’t available at pick up time. Reception wasn’t sure it had winter tires or not windshield was cracked and heat was not working properly in unit. Please check before renting it out.
