A number of employees were not wearing face masks inside the building and while serving me. Social distancing was also not respected. This is contrary to the law. Not impressed by this.

I rented a 26ft truck there, nobody checked the ramp of the truck before i left with the truck. When I got to my destination and started loading the truck, I noticed the ramp was jammed, I fought with it for a while and couldn't get it to work. I immediately called UHall to let someone know and i was told i a note would be place on my account for a credit about the inconvenience. When I returned the truck the next day, I mentioned the ramp problem again and the the got tried for a while and noticed it was indeed jammed. He managed to pull it and said that i shouldn't be like that for sure and sent me inside to see the manager about it. Not only i send 45 min waiting in line, but also, the manager told me that it couldn't do anything about it, after he went back outside to check it himself he said that $20 is all he could give me for the inconvenience and was really rude about it. Then said if I needed more discount i can call customer service myself. Very rude and inconsiderate as a manager, that's sad.
Having your manager learn Customer Service skills at this location and actually be polite and respectful. She has a HUGE ATTITTUDE and chip on her shoulder and overall B. HORRIBLE SERVICE RUDE
Email messages and online info different than what is in real world 24/7 not applicable the day we came. Pick and drop of not in person only. Staff was very direct and not even empathic about the fact that things were different. Visual pollution in email and even on the payment thing ( were you pay with your card). Make it difficult to identify the important info. Will surely use an other company if I ever need to move again
Quand j'ai reÃ§u la facture de 89$ j'ai appelÃ© pour me faire expliquer la facture. Nicolas a dÃ©crochÃ© et a pensÃ© que c'Ã©tait un certain Mme Desjardins quand j'ai rÃ©pondu il a dit Ã son collÃ¨gue j'ai pris la mauvaise ligne et a raccrochÃ© au nez. Je rappelle je lui signale cette incident il dit oui oui puis sans excuse. Je lui demande de m'expliquer la facture il me dit que le niveau d'essence Ã©tait un peu moins que le 1/4 donc ils ont chargÃ© 42$pour l essence et 30$ pour le service. Je lui explique que l essence Ã©tait bien mis et on a demandÃ© Ã l agent de vÃ©rifier il nous rÃ©ponds que c'Ã©tait pas Ã©crit juste verbal donc Ã§a compte pas. Je lui pose la question sur un autre 15$ de couverture il rÃ©ponds attendait je regarde Ã§a tout de suite aprÃ¨s une dame dÃ©crochÃ© sans transition et me dit je suis le boss de Nicolas qu'est ce que vous voulais. D un ton tellement agressif je lui dit que mon intention c'est pas de contester juste comprendre et leur donner ma version car j'ai pas la tÃªte Ã Ã§a car je vis un divorce et un dÃ©mÃ©nagement elle me coupe pour me dire mais c'est pas notre problÃ¨me Ã§a !!!! Elle me dit de toute faÃ§on la facture ne va pas changer il faut appeler l autre uhaul c'est eux les fautif pas nous. Je lui dit je vais payer la facture mÃªme si pas correct elle me mets des heures en attente je raccroche. Je rappele rebellote. Ã€ la 4e tentative j'ai rÃ©ussi Ã payer. Plus jamais je vais retourner chez uhaul ainsi que tous mes amis et ma communautÃ©. Je vais parler de cette mauvaise expÃ©rience, ainsi qu'en temps que local guide pour Google.
Issue with billing.
Would wish improvement occurs with respect to trailer's condition and clealiness inside. Also, although we were told in Gatineau that we could drop the trailer anywhere in Montreal, when we went to the first drop-off location we had identified on CrÃ©mazie East we were told that we had to go to the Notre-Dame location as our contract stated so. We left this location and called U-Haul from our car. The person we were talking to was more reasonable and facilitated dropping off the trailer at a near location (on Pie-IX). Everything went well at the Pie-IX location as the lady we had spoken to on the phone had called the Pie-IX location before we arrived.
Easy pick up and drop off and cordial staff. Much easier once you have completed the info on line
Fast, friendly, efficient and courteous. Will use again!
Not enough staff to assist clients. I showed up at 8:30am for my 9am reservation, but left at 10:15am once I was fully served. More staff needed. I won't be picking up from this location ever again.

Very efficient, did not have to wait. Well lit (evening drop off), felt safe.
Insure equipment is functional. When I picked it up, I noticed I when the employee plugged the trailer to my vehicle that the trailer running lights flashed then did not illuminate on the front of the trailer. The employee went to the rear of the trailer and checked the lights and asked for the brake and signal lights only. I was given the ok and left. Since it was 1 hour before it was dark, I was forced to operate the trailer with no running lights on the trailer. I returned it.

did partial booking on line which worked well , if possible to sign contract on line and pay may speed up process , when I went there were many people lined up . B/c did on line did get pulled out of line after waiting about 20 min and brought out to hook up trailer which worked well but then had to go back in for another 20 min to complete process . The younge women that helped me outside was really great and was actually running to try to keep up with demand , may have been helpful to have an extra person when demand was higher . thanks was an overall good experience and will def rent again . super long wait even afer all pre done on line and phone. 3 trailers in yard and told none available ask me to come back in 1 .5 hrs as waiting for a return of a trailer that is late .
Add more staff. Had to wait over 1 hr to get the rental. Besides that, everything was fine.
The implementation of Covid-19 safety measures at this location made no sense and the staff were extremely rude. There were 3 aisles at the cash separated by products on shelves in between customers who end up standing around 3 feet apart from each other if all aisles are in use. The shelves between aisles are not an appropriate barrier because they're not above average head height and they're not made droplet proof with a sheet of glass or plastic. There are 2 sheets of plastic that act as barriers between customers and employees at the front of the cash but only on both the end aisles not the middle one for no apparent reason. So when I'm standing at the front of the middle aisle, I am not covered by the plastic barriers in anyway. The employee sitting behind one of these barriers had his mask on his chin. I asked him to cover his mouth and nose and he just pointed at the plastic sheet even though it wasn't dividing us at all. The woman serving me became very defensive interrupting anything myself or my father said about it with comments like "I know the law" "I'm the manager you can report to me" and the heavily sarcastic "Thank you for your support...". The man did put the mask on, only to remove it the second the phone rang and then kept it off when he was done on the phone. If it wasn't for the fact that this was the only day I had to move into my new home I would have walked out immediately and brought my business elsewhere. It's a simple thing to put on a mask and the lack of respect for other people's lives is disgusting. My father is someone at greater risk of dying from Covid-19 if he were to catch it, and that's not something they would know just by looking at him. I work in healthcare myself so to see this kind of behavior was very disheartening.
It took too long in line, they did not have the truck i had reserved. There were not enough associates for the croud waiting.
General manager Tania was awful. Her costumer service lack of professionalism, she was so rude. I do not want to rent anything from there ever again.

Customer service was good as usual, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There's just not enough of them. Every time we rent from U-Haul, the wait times are ridiculous. When i collected the trailer on Friday afternoon, there was 1 staff member serving customers. I waited approximately 30 mins to be served which isn't acceptable.
not able to complete reservation online. Called, unable to do it either. was asked to call the location next day which I did. Ended up with 3 reservations! Confusion on the location for pick up. Were supposed to call 2 days in advance, never did. When I call, they did not have my reservation !!!!Where we arrive, they told us to wait in the car, but people were entering the store not respecting the order of arrival, finally we did like them and entred the store. Not the best experience.
Oui, par contre je conseillerai que pour les retours, il est recommandÃ© de rencontrer le reprÃ©sentant Ã l'intÃ©rieur dans un aire d'espace dÃ©diÃ© pour les retours.
Attendu 30 minutes minimum avamt d'avoir le camion, et on repassera pour le service Ã la clientÃ¨le de la personne qui m'a servi pour le pick up....
