Too long of a wait, had to wait 1h in-line to be answered. My truck wasn't a the location I chose when booked online. I had to drive 25 additionnal km to rent my truck. So what is the purpose to choose a location to pick-up if I can't get it where I wanted. The location I wanted to go was 800m from where I was.

Made a reservation for a 6'x12' cargo trailer on Mon 17 June 2019 for a Fri 21 June pick-up. Upon making the payment on pick-up, I noticed that the price was way above (50%) what I had discussed during the reservation. The clerk explained that the prices had gone up during that week. I mentioned that I had made a reservation but did not insist with the clerk to pay the lower rate. Can I pursue the matter further? Merci d'avance. Claude

Cet établissement est tres bon! (en anglais s'il vous plait.. Coventry Road provided very poor service and transferred me to Gatineau, so we cancelled that order. I lost 3 hours in the day and barely finished in time. I blame Coventry Road and the 800 service.

The prices were not identified correctly. Since it was peak season It wad extremely expensive!! I understand that it is very busy and want to make some money but you should be upfront with your prices. Also, since it is peak season you should probably have more staff to recieve customers.

Tout le processus a été simple et efficace. Les employés sont courtois et professionnel. Le gérant devrait par contre éviter de crier à ses employés lorsqu'ils servent des clients. Outre ce manque de professionnalisme, le service est, selon mon expérience avec cette compagnie, au dessus de la moyenne!

Pickup and use went very smooth with no issues, however when I went to return the trailer I rented I got there at 6:50pm (my return time on my contract was 7:00pm and the lady highlighted it as well) the doors were locked. Even though the store was open until 7:00pm. eventually the same lady that helped me when i picked the trailer up came out and told me that the store was closed and I would not be able to get my deposit back until tomorrow. Not being from the area I don't know when the next time I would be back I asked if there was any other way I could get my deposit. She stated that I should have been back 15 minutes before my drop off time as stated in my contract. I looked the contract up and down right in front of her and no where did it mention this. Her excuse was that it must have been a miscommunication error and I would have to call the help[ line to get the deposit back. The help line was very helpful and explained that the store should have been open until 7:00 and not have closed early. (my guess is that the staff wanted to go home right at 7:00 because as I was leaving I saw some of them taking off) I ended up getting my deposit mailed to me thanks to the helpful man at the uhaul help line. The drop off process is a little flawed, since you are technically able to drop the trailer off while the location is closed and they do their return inspection the next day. However if anything happens to the trailer overnight I would assume they would hold you responsible for it. My recommendation would be that if you are dropping off a trailer do it an hour before the store closes. If you have to drop it off while the store is closed take lots of pictures of whatever you are dropping off.

First of all, let me say how great the service was! I've been raving all weekend about how seamless the whole rental process was and how the folks in Gatineau were pleasent and helpful. One improvement would be to enable English printouts for the documents. The employees in Gatineau weren't able to print in English from their system. As I was passing through the US border, French documents wouldn't do. I had to print those on my own from my Uhaul account.

It would have been nice if at least the cab of the truck could have been pressure washed and the interior of the cab cleaned, including the windows .Also, the cargo area should have been swept out. Staff at the Gatineau location were very pleasant and helpful! Equipment worked great!

Completely unacceptable level of service, lineup about customers was at the door, with only two staff members working. The staff worked very hard, and did the best they could, but it was completely inappropriate the number of bookings at U-Haul corporate tried to put through that location. Day. There were not enough vehicles. There were customers screaming and cursing, it was started to rain, people were standing outside in the rain It is disgusting how a big Corporation tries to shove as many customers through in a day, completely neglecting customer service. I will never be renting from U-Haul again.
