Everything was good here. Only improvement might be calculating the mileage. I think the estimate was taken as being from my home address to the drop off point, but there are other factors, like getting the truck from the pickup location to my home and then from my home to my destination and then from that destination to the drop off. We ended up a few miles over what was estimated and it just seems like that could have been avoided.

Terrace MVeronica did an exceptional job assisting us with our rental. She was polite, competent, and walked me clearly through every step of the process. She deserves 5 stars for her professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, my praise stops here, as the conditions at this location were deplorable and absolutely not what I would expect from a professionally run U-Haul franchise: >> No heat in the building. At 9:15 AM on Saturday, when we arrived, the temperature was in the high 30s/low 40s. Veronica had to work bundled up in a jacket and hoodie just to keep warm. She explained that the entire HVAC/furnace system needs to be replaced. >> Broken task chair. One of the casters on her chair kept falling off, making it unsafe and uncomfortable to use. She repeatedly had to reattach the caster. >> No proper workstation. Veronica had to process the entire rental on her personal cell phone because she had no computer or functional setup to work from. Despite all this, Veronica soldiered on, remained friendly, and handled everything on her own. She is the ONLY reason I clicked “Yes” on recommending this location. The physical conditions of this site are unacceptable and, frankly, not fit for employees or customers. >> 0 stars for the ownership/management that allowed these conditions (shame on you). >> 5 stars for Veronica for having the professionalism and resilience to work under such conditions and still be able to care for her customers, completely!!!
