Truck made strange metal rubbing? noise. Mileage and gas amount were very wrong and they wouldn't fix it before we left and then did not check the truck in until 2 days AFTER it was returned causing anxiety and stress for 3 days when I only actually used the thing for a couple of hours! I'm quite certain if I hadn't had pics and hadn't been calling corporate from the beginning I would have been robbed blind during this experience.
SABRINA CHave someone available who knows about reservations. I had called the day before letting the owner know I would be there by noon. When I arrived the secretary I spoke with knew nothing of the reservation and contacted the owner who asked me to come back in 2 hours. I told them I couldn't, so they took pictures of my license and credit card. No paperwork involved. Had I been stopped by law enforcement, I had nothing to prove that I had rented it. Weirdest rental I've ever had.
