The dashboard lighting was poor, and the lens over the “cockpit” had a film on it that wouldn’t wipe off…so it was hard to see in daylight with some glare and extremely difficult to see at night. The windshield wipers were crappy, so driving in the evening and night in the rain was very stressful. Otherwise the vehicle was in great condition. Needs to be modernized for plug ins etc. the daily charge was reasonable but the per mile fee they charge should be illegal!!!! U-Haul know sthey have us in a corner. If the cost per mile was more reasonable I would use their services much more often!

The kid at the register who checked me out had no idea what he was doing. He never asked if I wanted the extra protection & never mentioned once that I’d have to fill up the tank when I returned. I drove less than 60 miles & was charged $45 for gas. My bill ended up being $200 for less than 4 hours of use! I was expecting $100 max.
Christianna HThey hooked up the trailer for me and were super nice throughout the whole process! 10/10 would recommend!
MONTINIQUE JI ordered an appliance dolly and u haul never told me that location didn't have one. I had to rush to Home Depot and rent one for $30 instead of the $10 it cost me through Uhaul. It was very inconvenient!
Kelly JFirst off, I reserved and paid for a utility dolly but was given a furniture dolly. When I called the store, I was told that they are first come first serve which completely mitigates the reservation process. I got a complete run around and had to go great lengths in order to get a utility dolly at my final destination in Indianapolis IN. Jeremy was the person who handled the U-haul pickup and he was not helpful at all when I called to correct the incorrect dolly. He was very dismissive of my concerns and issues with my move. He basically passed me off to others and I had to take time out of my day that I could have spend loading the truck to deal with the dolly. Secondly, the driver side mirror on the truck would not stay in position. This made it virtually impossible to see oncoming traffic to merge into a right lane or an off ramp. For a 500 plus mile trip, that is unacceptable. I get that these are not Volvo's but, you would think that in 2026 you would have vehicles that had power door lucks and automatic windows. Believe it or not when traveling with others, it actually made things inconvenient. I will not be renting from U-haul again. I will find another means of moving in the future.
