I had excellent and EASY service from beginning to end! I wish I would have used the service before. I got great storage and had no hassle with the van. I will definitely continue to use in the future.

Manager was uncooperative and found no solution except to walk away from my following concern. I rented a van. Put 14 miles on the van. I filled up the van with gas. 5 gallons and shower manager the receipt. Manager said I should have noticed the fuel gauge was not showing full. “And there was nothing i can do”. Really? Clearly the client did what was asked to fill tank. Clearly 5 galllons for 14 miles. And the client is under the obligation to look at a gauge on a van he has never driven. Hope I hear from a U Haul Rep. Contact #9654095

I will never rent from this Uhaul store again and I have rented from several different Uhaul places before. I was double charged for my uhaul and it made my account go into negative the lady said she refunded my money but it was on a Sunday so now I am having to wait for my refund and have no money because my account it negative. They had several new employees that didn’t know what they were doing.

Upon my return an agent came out after I waited for 10 minutes and she did not inspect the vehicle. I was told that she would check the vehicle in and send me a receipt via email. I called several hours later after not receiving it, only to find out that the vehicle had never been checked in although my card had been charged for additional mileage. I was the first return of the morning so I don’t understand how the ball was dropped. If I ever use Uhaul again I will go to a different location.

Final price was $125 more than what I was quoted. I was told additional day would be $19.95. False information and when I questioned the $100 discrepancy at check out, I was simply told by teller “ I can’t help you that’s what the computer is telling me. “ Horrible business practice.

When a reservation is made, have the truck pre-parked as close to the UHaul Office as possible and ready for delivery and not all the way around the storage building next to a fence where it was hard to get the drivers door open and the inside temperature was close to 90 degrees!

I picked up reserved rental. I was in and out of facility in 10 minutes.

Sun shield of driver side is broken, always falls. Dangerous for driving. I refueled the truck to exactly where it was and returned it at 12pm sharp. But I was charged for lack of fuel and return time is 1:40pm on the receipt.

Aside from nearly stranding my wife, our two young children, and all of their luggage (for which I had reserved a van) at the airport after a 10-hour international flight, my experience with U-Haul was excellent. While making my reservation I contacted U-Haul to ask if I could use my foreign-issued driver license to rent a vehicle (I am an American citizen relocating my family to the US from Germany). I was told that this would not be a problem at all. I also verified this information online at a U-Haul website (https://movinginsider.com/2016/03/10/the-right-drivers-license-to-rent-a-moving-truck). When I arrived to pick up the vehicle I was told that I would not be allowed to rent the vehicle as my German driver license was not acceptable. Furthermore I was told that the U-Haul computer system did not even allow for entering information from a foreign driver license. The U-Haul agent was unable and unwilling to explain why their location's policy completely contradicted both U-Haul's own customer service and website. With very little time before my family's flight arrived and no time to make arrangements with another rental company, I was only able to rent the vehicle after asking a friend with a US driver license for help. If this friend had not been available my family would have been stranded. During my relocation to the US, I have rented vehicles from both Avis and Hertz using my German driver license with no questions asked. U-Haul also allows foreign driver licenses, just not *this* specific location apparently. Aside from this unpleasant and stressful situation, the vehicle I reserved was available as promised and met my expectations. Returning the vehicle went smoothly with no issues. Also, the agent checking in the vehicle was very pleasant, polite, and professional. Although the situation worked out in the end, I am unable to rate this location and my experience with them favorably. As most people can attest, moving can be very hectic and stressful. Moving internationally with two young children in tow is even more so. I chose U-Haul to help make my move easier but, based on this experience, I will actively consider other options for future moves.
