I was not told about the hours and I wanted to pay cash when l tryed to returning the truck I had to close it out on my phone witch created a bunch problems

When I arrived to pick up my rental in Grayslake, I was met with “I hope you’re not here for the 26 footer.” Which, I was. I was told that it wasn’t available, surprised that I wasn’t called and informed about that before I drove there, and then I was told to go to Gurnee where my reservation would be transferred. The employee in Gurnee was actually very nice and helpful, but the largest truck available was 20’, which didn’t work out very well, and of course it wasn’t ready because he didn’t know that I was coming. Long story short, if someone reserves a certain truck, have it there, because it fucks up their whole day and then some. Or, at least call them ahead of time and tell them tough shit and to go somewhere else. I can work with bad news. I can’t work with surprises and substitutions.

Called for a qoute, prior to I looked up equipment needed one choice was a 10 box truck the others was your trailer 6x12. I also but my vehicle info in your app which said could pull that trailer size. I called to Mae a reservation and told they would not allow a rental of that trail that my vehicle did not met standards. So reserved a 10' box truck. When picking up the truck and saw a photo on the of a grand Cherokee pulling that size trailer. I questioned this seeing I own a 2003 dodge Dakota 4x4 V8 which has more power and torque. I was gives a BS answer that well might be because they had trpubkes with vehicles similar to the one I own. I feel I was lies to and not happy with Mt experience and paid more money for having to use a box truck and also paying for mileage I stead of a flat fee. How is it your apo says it is fine to use my vechial then the location tells me no. Either fix your errors or train your people better. I have pull larger and heavier trailer legally then the trailer I was trying to rent. Also do to lack of help when dropping of the box truck the sales person alone was fielding a phone call and asked to move thing along if I child help and get the mileage to expedite things he said no and since he already have my credit card he wpukd just charge o and email a recipit which I have not recivied yet though I have received this survey. This has been a lees then even bad experience at this point. I have not a satisfied customer just to be totally clear

please provide better info internally and fix your app so it is not confusing and then when someone calls to not be told im sorry i dont see a truck reserved five times before they magically find right before I was about to become very upset. The app almost worked and then said it couldnt verify my location repeatedly. Which was very frustrating at night and in bad weather.

I had multiple phone calls, approx. 5, the day prior to dropping off trailer, also a very long voicemail. Asking if I am dropping off on time , they have another rental immediately after I drop off. Call them, call them, etc. this was after I talked to them saying I will have it back NLT noon as required, while I was still on the road. It also said I could get a free month of storage but they don’t have storage. So I didn’t get that either.

Give me what I reserve!! I reserved a 20’ truck I get to the location they say oh we only have a 15’. Mind you I asked them 3 times about the 20’ they said y s we have it it should be no problems. So then I get to the uhaul pick up and he say we have your truck ready and I said which one and he says the 15’. I said that’s not what I requested. He said I’m sorry they sent you to my location because no one has a 20’. So that was the first lie!! Then he say well how much are you moving I said a three bedroom house not a apartment. He said oh that fits in a 15’ foot truck just fine. So now I’m already mad cause they didn’t have what I asked for. So I had no choice but to get this 15’ door truck cause I called others ones on Sunday. It’s to much to type I’ll just say l didn’t like the service at all I will never return to uhaul again. Employees are rude and disrespectful and have poor customer service.

Overall service at U-Haul. Confirmation said 7am but the location I was forced to use didn’t open until 8. I asked for 4 hour rental, but because I couldn’t get rental until 8, I was only given 3 hours

I moved all day and was exhausted at the end of the day, returning the truck was the absolute worst part of my day. I was only able to return via uhaul/share and was never told about that upon purchase of the rental. I had to upload several photos which dragged this process out even longer! I returned the vehicle with 1/4 tank more than I even received it with but the hoops I had to jump through returning the truck are making my decision to never use uhaul again.
