Have a better and more transparent setup for equipment rentals. Not having a computer and printer to print out the contract and go over information was a bit inconvenient and left things missed on my end. When I arrived the associate was asking me what the equipment rental number was (not the reservation number because that was all i had) and kept insisting I had it despite me telling him 3 times I signed up for in store pickup so had not been given that information yet. The transaction was performed using the employee's personal cell phone (which i signed up for in store pickup to avoid all of that) so I missed when the associate signed me up for the rental insurance despite saying I did not want it, again 3 times. I also had to review all of the information myself on my phone and could not zoom in on the documents so missed the "stated" gas reading on the contract which stated 1/4 tank but in reality was only 1/8th (I did take pictures and attempted to resolve the discrepancy before leaving after dropoff. but the associate didnt seem to have much concern since it was my card being charged and not theirs). Overall it was a little to "relaxed??" of a contract process and left everything on me the customer to verify and or miss, which I did. Oh well, no going back and changing what I could have done differently, but I will not be using this location in the future and recommend others steer clear as well.

Pricing should not change from the amount that was charged the gas was low when I received the truck yet I’m paying for a full task that I never received plus the back of the truck I couldn’t get in until a representative came to open door for me besides the first truck would not start so overall the truck was returned how I got it with no gasoline

DMARCUS WThis whole experience was terrible! I reserved the truck through the U-Haul site for a one-day, six-hour use. When I arrived at the location to pick up the truck, the guy who was helping me acted like he didn’t even know I was coming. He tried to figure things out “on the fly,” and he didn’t walk me through anything. I was supposed to sign a contract, but I couldn’t do that because the contract was online snd the guy at the location didn’t want to print it - this pretty much *forced* me to download the U-Haul app (which is something that I didn’t want to do at all) just to try to sign the stupid contract, which I *still* couldn’t do because the app wouldn’t allow me to do it. All the while, the guy who was “helping” me would take my phone and go through my emails to try to find the information he needed because he wouldn’t believe me when I said I didn’t receive the info he was asking for. I reserved the truck for six hours, but I had it returned in under three hours. When I returned it to the location where I picked it up, the same guy at the location told me I needed to put the truck key in the bed of the truck and lock it up, which sounds just absolutely crazy to me! I asked if I could just use the dropbox to put the key in, which he said should be ok. I asked if he and I should inspect the truck before I left, but he said he would take care of it “later.” The next day, I’m getting phone calls and emails from U-Haul, informing me that they did not have a record of me returning the truck. I had to get *that* squared away on my own time as well. Seriously, U-Haul - I’ve seen zoo animals fling their own feces with more efficiency than whatever the hell it is that you’re doing! The only thing I can say is that the truck I had was new and well-cleaned when I picked it up. Everything else was TOTALLY unprofessional.
