Super upset and frustrated with uhaul. Reserved a 20 foot truck in south Hampton Ontario and they switched that on me to a 26 foot truck. I couldn’t use a 26 foot truck because it wouldn’t fit where I needed to go. I switched my equipment and what I assumed was only my pick up location to Hepworth which had a 20 foot truck but when I arrived the truck was dead and I was then switched yet again to a 15 foot truck. At the end of a very long day of moving I went to drop the truck off in south hampton which I assumed I could as I though it was just my pick up location that changed to accommodate the 20 foot truck I originally reserved in south Hampton however this was not the case and they said I would need to drop it off in Hepworth. After speaking with uhaul and them being completely no help what so ever the store owner helped me out and arranged for me to leave the truck there. I now am out money because of the mileage I was charged having to pick up in Hepworth and drive back to south Hampton not to mention my time on an already busy and stressful day. I expected more sympathy and help from uhaul but it was just problem after problem and they could care less or it inconvenienced me, I will never use this company again it was a waste of time ($287) which was mostly for the extra mileage of having to pick up at an alternate location then originally reserved, energy and nothing but problems for which I thought should have been a cheaper, no hassle option but next time I’ll hire movers or use a different company.
