1. A/C didn't work in truck. Truck sounded terrible. Still functional, but sounded terrible. It was clean, but I had concerns about it mechanically. 2. Asked for 24 extra furniture pads. They were not provided. Didn't even realize we didn't have them all until we were loading the truck and got to the end of the half dozen that WERE in the truck. Ask for 24. Receive 6. No good. 3. Asked for a furniture dolly. It was not provided. Person in the store had no clue. Offered an appliance dolly. Not the same. 4. Pick up process in app was dreadfully slow due to bad cell service at the location. Showed up at 6:40am to pick up the truck. Didn't leave with it until 7:14am. Most of that time spent waiting for U-Haul site pages, license scanner, photo uploads, and trying to track down the furniture dolly that should have been IN THE TRUCK. 5. Gas tank was between 1/4 and 1/2 tank. I had nearly 100 miles to drive for the day. U-Hauls policy of returning a truck with at least as much gas as when you picked it up is dumb. Should be full. Same policy can apply, just with a full tank instead of one that is nearly empty. Follow the lead of every friggin rental car company out there. Don't make customers play the game of a) filling up before they start a chaotic day of moving and b) trying to figure out exactly how many gallons they need to put in to not be losing money on gas they didn't actually use. Dumbest policy ever. 6. Dropping off the truck was confusing. App mentioned an orange drop box (but didn't say to put the key in it), it also gave me the code to open lock box #2 and said to put the key in there. When I picked up, I got the key out of lockbox #3. At any rate, I opened lockbox #2 since that's what the app said. Upon opening it, there was already a key for another vehicle in there. I opted to lock that box back up, and I put my key in the orange drop box. This entire process seemed unpolished and clunky. I'll definitely be using a different location next time.

A brief walk-through of the features of the truck and trailer would have been nice. It also would have been nice to have been told the importance of downloading the U-Haul app. The gentleman who helped me was friendly.
