Cabin was very dirty. Ashtray was filled with cigarettes. Smelled like smoke. I had to stop and get Clorox wipes to wipe down and clean the entire cabin. It was rough.

It was my first time renting a uhaul and it could not have been a more worse experience. I got there at 5pm on Friday and was rushed through the rental service with minimal interruptions but was not given the chance to review equipment and gas prior to taking off. I was just given the key and sent on my way. The day after, I found the master lock for the back to be damaged and unusable. I went to target bought my OWN lock and used it. Upon returning the vehicle I informed location of lock situation and all that was said was “okay, I'll make note of that “ as he wrote nothing of it on the computer and nothing of it on a piece of paper for later. Last but not least, I was charged for gas unjustly. I took pictures of where I filled the tank which was dead center of 7/8th and F(which was where it was when I first got it, I have the receipt). Called and was refunded my money but why on earth unjustly charge me to begin with ? What a rolllercoater this was with uhaul.

Verify milage. It was 1 mile off, when I got it which means I paid for 1 mile i didnt use. that can be a big deal to a customer.No one wants to pay for something they did not use.

The only thing is if a person makes a reservation at a particular time and has to wait for 15 minutes before being service. The time must reflect the actual time of the rental. I don't think it's professional not to reflect the actual time this falls in the category of questionable practices meaning that hidden agenda of charging additional charges upon return.

The only thing I didn't like about this location is that it seemed that they were short staffed. After receiving my truck and told that it was ready to go, I went all the way home and saw that my moving equipment was missing. So I had to drive back to the Uhaul place to get the equipment that they forgot to load on my truck. Also there is a need for a bigger parking lot. While returning my truck there was a big traffic jam which mad people upset and do ignorant things in the process. OVerall the customer service was great.

During the transaction portion before I actually drove the vehicle off the lot, the staff member told me that the gas tank was 3/4 full. Apparently it was actually 7/8th which was reflected in the paper work I signed, as the manager pointed out when I returned the vehicle, however I was told it was 3/4th during the signing. I understand that it could have been an honest mistake by the staff member who helped me during the transaction when she said "3/4th" instead of "7/8th", but I don't think I should have been charged for the gas because it was 1 mark below were it was originally. Although I was only charged about $3, it's the morale that counts. Most people would have let something so small like that slide.
