The lockbox situation is a joke. The locks are stacked horizontal and squeezed into a tight space next to the key drop off box. The locks are also at neck height so you cannot read the locks to put in the combination. I had to take 20 plus pictures and check them one at a time in order to read the letters and then rotate to the next letter in order to try and unlock the box. If this was my wife or mother in law there's no way they could have done it. The truck had a warning light about the tires the whole time and it also did not want to start for me at the first location where I picked up my stuff and at the gas station when I went to fill up. I was so scared of the truck not starting at my final location that I did not turn off the truck because I didn't want to block in the cars and be stuck waiting for a mechanic on my Sunday afternoon. I would also say it's super confusing how to refill the gas you spent when the vehicle is already short a quarter tank. I ended up accidentally filling it up in full. Uhaul owes me for a full quarter tank of gas, but I doubt they will recognize that on the return and give me my money or amend the bill. I will say I see how Uhaul is trying to make this an easy seamless faceless process and it can work. I think all the negative parts described have to do with the specific location and maintenance of the vehicle.

I needed blankets and a dolly. Neither of these are available when I came to rent the trailer. I was forced to purchase these items from a hardware store as a result of this deficiency
