Locking gas caps! The first truck I was assigned was siphoned dry. Added another 30 min to my move and I ended up with a much bigger truck.

Kelly from the Indio location tried to do a last minute bait and switch with the truck. My reservation at the annex initially wasn't in the system. Luckily a truck was available and after a few minute delay we were on the road. Not sure why Kelly would want to inconvience customers by making them drive out of their way to pick up a truck at a different location than had been booked. Apparently Kelly pulls this stunt frequently. If she can't be trained to treat customers with respect then she needs to be fired.

Please give this Postal Annex proper signage! It was very hard to find. The people are very nice and efficient, but there is no signage on the street or even on the building and it's very frustrating.

I was told I was 5/8 a gallon short at drop off. I realize this is a Uhall choice to screw its customers and that I was offered to but the other half a gallon in the vehicle... I put 7.5 gallons in at 22$ and was charged18$ for just over 1/2 a gallon. It is an eyeball judgment and outrageous that any company would treat its customers that way. I look forward to not ever needing your company again.

The Only the problem and it wasn't a problem once figured out the U-Haul was in the postal annex store we went by it as the address wasn't clear outside either. Make sure customer know pickup is going to be in the store And the trucks are out back the people are Great to work with I would put a bigger U-HAUL sign in window even one that says. I HAVE U -HAUL TRUCKS HERE !

Please supply this drop off location with a much larger sign! They only have a tiny sign and the man was incredibly nice but how can he do business without your support? Please give him a larger sign. Rated poor because no signage. we drove around forever trying to find where to drop of the truck. Thank you

None of my experience had to do with the dealer, he was wonderful, helpful, and very accommodating. It was the dispatched vehicle they sent him, he did not have any vehicle fleet services on site so he can't be held accountable for the equipment dumped on him by the local dispatch. He had no control over what truck was delivered. After placing a reservation weeks in advance, the truck was in the shop the night before it was supposed to be ready for repairs. The tow dolly was broken off the reservation and sent to another location miles away. If I had not called to confirm the equipment was going to be ready the night before because I had not gotten a confirmation found out the truck was in the shop and made sure the dolly was delivered to the same pickup loctaion, I would have had to drive thirty miles additionally just to pick up the tow dolly and back to pick up my vehicle. Whomever was in charge of dispatching the equipment and signed off on it should be retrained or simply let go for poor performance and inattention to details, like not checking the wheel strapping was worn through (it was), making sure the tail lights functioned(they did not), making sure the safety chain hooks have retainers(half did not), mounting the dolly properly (safety chains crossed, ball hook clamp fully tightened and locked) also cleaning the truck interior, the windows and windshield were filthy and making sure it didn't stink like body odor. Finally the headlights were adjusted and pointed correctly instead of one pointed at the road center seven feet in front of the truck and the other at the shoulder nine feet away. I will not use the uhaul website again to get a truck, I will only use uhaul for local dump and hauling work and only rent from locations with fleet maintenance on site in future so that they have more control over the equipment and can rectify issues immediately (as in - at the time of pick up). I am about to start another long haul and am using Penske, the truck was delivered at a fleet lot in nearly pristine condition and fully operational exactly on time. The cost was slighty more, already worth it knowing I'll be heading out for two thousand miles without headaches in a clean, smooth running, properly setup vehicle.

I was scheduled for a 9am pick up. The man working at postal annex couldn't help me at all for the first hour because he was the only person available working. His phone was ringing off the hook to which he never answered. I came to find out after waiting an hour that his employee was calling to see if he needed help but since he never answered, she never knew, and I sat there ...waiting. I finally got helped at 10 am but still had trouble with the uhaul system setting up the information which I had already provided through early check in. This whole system is not working. Your providers were not prepared. They were not nice. They were not apologetic. The computer system looked ancient. Overall very dissatisfied. This error made Me late for the scheduled movers as well as getting to my final destination appx two hours late as well.

I had to wait over 30 minutes with no acknowledgment from the store owners. When I finally was assisted the representative threw the keys at me over the counter. He didn't do an inspection of the truck or dolly I rented nor did he confirm it had a full tank of gas which was reflected on the documents. The dolly was a joke and a waste of money as it was so small I couldn't use it at all.

I would never recommend this location to anyone. They first, had the wrong mileage on my contract. Second, they had the amount of gas in the truck wrong on my contract. Then, the guy, mike was his name, amended my contract with pen and assured me it would be changed and to call the u-haul number on the contract if I had any problems at drop off. The drop off location did not have the changed aka correct information on the contract. They could not amend it. This location did not answer my phone call. This is the worst experience I've ever had as a customer. I will never rent from uhaul again and I implote uhaul to sever ties with this location as they are clearly incapable of following through on ethical business practices.

they don't have proper hours for a uhaul location,i droped they truck off clean and I was charged 25 for cleaning I called spoke to a lady the same day she told me the manager would have to handle it I never received a phone call.

this location is the best uhaul location period. Whereas, other locations would only give me lip service only, one employee, STEVE, made my experience great. The other locations have locations in shopping centers with inadequate employees who offer no practical help. Steve went the extra mile to even give me a ride back to my house after drop off of my truck and car carrying dolly. THE BEST LOCATION PERIOD.

Be more specific about which locations accept rental returns since apparently some do and some don't. Having said that, our situation was well handled by the people at this site.
