Returned trucks, no issues

I emailed as well as called the location asking about if I would be received a deposit back a week ago. I received no response but now I'm receiving emails of a invoice saying I owe more money. The man was very unfriendly and acted as if he didn't want to be there or i was coming to rent his own personal vehicle to move my belongings. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Get a better customer service rep. The guy who worked this day moved so slow and was so rude. The energy was terrible, he didn’t let us know what options he had available. He got upset because we didn’t have a reservation and tried to give us equipment that wouldn’t work with our moving. He was just overall rude. When asked what we were driving, he just pointes at the car. No words, just pointed. He was rude. As long as he’s at this location, I’ll be going to another.

When I rented the van I was on a daily rate, I turned the van in early, and they switched me to a weekly rate to get more money from me. They even confirmed I was on a daily rate when I called them to return early. Be careful!!

Ask the gentleman that was working that day to not be so rude. I'm glad I did everything online...I wouldn't have wanted to do the old process with him. And we were 20 seconds from the your location when we realized there was no dolly. Turned around immediately and returned to get one from small fenced area that van was parked next to. Was "fussed" at for doing this and I give him that....but the attitude was already in place. Over all I like the new method. I have always went with Uhaul and everytime it was an easy process. BTW....he may have just been having a bad day...or jealous that the new system may do his job too well. Thank you!

Rude services! Return policy was not explained and cost me $45 extra! After hours drop off sucks, website was not clear and wasn’t able to figure it out! This was a partial move and I will look for another rental service !

I called the customer service line to let them know I would not be returning the uhaul until a later time however it was still less than 24 hours and I was charged for 2 days. The customer service rep was rude when I inquired about the charges. Oh and the lock on the uhaul stuck and I couldn’t open it.

Customer service was very unprofessional. The two gentlemen were very rude. The gentleman that was assisting me tried everything he could to not hook the trailer up to my truck. Tried telling me the ball hitch was the wrong size when I knew it was a 2in ball, then said the position of where I had the hitch wouldn’t work.... etc. They were not very friendly or professional.

The equipment I reserved was not available and a substitution was made without one word said to me. I reserved a car hauler trailer and they gave me the tow dolly instead. When I went back and asked why I was told none were available in Jackson. That was a complete lie as I had driven by another Uhaul dealer and there were 3 of them parked at their lot. I made the reservations a full week in advance and this is how I was served.

my UHaul representative Donna Pinner at the Whiteville UHaul at her Pinner's Farm Garden and Sport was wonderful. She helped me locate and took care of the cargo van I wanted, that she didn't have onsite. However, the he wasn't that.... that rude man at the Airways location in Jackson was extremely unhelpful, rude and racist. He spoke ugly to my sister and I, but when African American customers came in, he was sickeningly sweet and over helpful and apologetic. And he was rude when I returned the van a week later. The van was dirty, I returned it much cleaner than given me. it was a great van though.... I'd rent one again but will use a different location. I expect to be treated well when I spend over a $1,000 or $1. My final bill was way over a grand.

Customer service failed !!! Attendant could have cared less that I rented , was zero appreciative and sorely not in a good mood . That was at pick up! At return I decided to use the electronic return app, so I would not have to encounter “Mr customer service of the year”. I turned the vehicle off but had to turn back on to get mileage pic! Then I took outside and inside pics! Then the pic of where it was parked! Successful returned! Last notification... lock truck and drop key in slot ! I locked the door but was holding the wrong key! Locked key inside Truck! Frustrated at myself for having done this, I go inside and told the attendant ! I should have been speaking Chinese. He had a blank look and said, “man I don’t know...what you should do?” Really !!!!!! Then the attendant I dealt with on the pick up entered!!! His response was shrugging his shoulders and went back into the break room mumbling, “I guess you need to call a locksmith!” Nothing .... maybe , “sir, I am sorry to hear that. It happens on occasion. You will need to call a locksmith and here are a few numbers of locksmiths that have made service calls here for the same thing!” Easy, simple , not requiring a rocket scientist Background to provide alittle customer service!
