We returned the truck the next day as required. The two auto mechanics on site, was working under a car and could not help us. We had to wait 20 minutes before someone would show up, so that we could place the key in their hand and leave the property. As a result, my husband was late for work. I dialed the number listed on the U-Haul contract, the next day, with regards to seeking clarity on a refund amount. A lady answering the phone, made no reference or acknowledgment that it was a business ( I thought I had contacted the wrong person by mistake). So, I asked if this was U-Haul? She confirmed and identified herself as the wife. She sounded as though, the phone call woke her up from sleep. I inquired about the highly questionable refund amount, as she was reluctant to assist, unprofessional and lacked proper customer service. I could sense that she was on the defense and wanted to pull me in, so she could justify her wrong. No ma'am, no thank you. I will not subject myself to towering and competition. We should love our neighbor by being accountable.
