The manager called me this morning and left a message asking if we "took the keys and removed the van from the lot without renting it." What?! Then, I called her back at 8 am and got a female employee. She told me not to worry because she had the rental confirmation in front of her and that she'd let the manager know. Then, I received a call at 9:50 am from the manager telling me my rental was due at 9:30 am and I would have to pay double for rental. My contract, text message confirmation, AND email confirmation ALL said the return time was 1pm. Plus, before I left the lot with the van, I took a picture of the odometer and clock, out of habit. I use to rent corporate cars weekly for my previous job and it's just something I habitually do whenever I rent a vehicle. The manager proceeded to yell at me and tell me I was wrong. I told her I would be happy to submit all my documentation. She kept yelling at me and finally I told her I was contacting corporate and if I were double-charged, I'd contact a lawyer. Worst customer service ever. I do not recommend this location at all.

When I explained all the problems I had to the lady here and to the roadside assistance people love them said I should be compensated for all my trouble. She said if that was her lot she would have waived the fee

Include instructions on how to move the side mirrors. We tried manually and then tried to google how with no luck, which made me very anxious about driving such a big vehicle.

May not be possible, but make rentals 'non-smoking' - vehicle had only 4000 miles on it, but stank of cigarettes- I'm a non-smoker

Truck had damage which allowed water into cargo area, this was not reviewed with us. We travelled in rain and some of the boxes were wet.

Make sure that customers are charged twice for dollie rental. I was charged upon pick-up of the truck in St. Louis as would be expected. Then, Uhaul attempted to charge me again in Jefferson City.

Pam Gentry runs an excellent branch of your company. For various reasons, I have had to move three times in the last three years, and I have returned time and again to rent equipment and purchase moving supplies from U-Haul Moving & Storage of Jefferson City. The store is always clean, the staff is helpful, and the equipment is well maintained.

I must say that I have never rented equipment before and did not look forward to the experience. The staff at this location was incredible. They were friendly, helpful and made the experience very easy. The van was clean and very easy to drive. All in all, I have nothing but good, positive things to say about the experience.

I called to make the reservation and gave all my information and where we were taking the van but when I went this morning to get the van they didn't have any of my information and everything had to be put in again. It was very frustrating and time consuming.

We had a bad experience with the U-Haul in Columbia. They told us they had something that they did not have. Jefferson City went out of their way to try to make that right. I highly recommend Jeff City Uhaul.

Had a problem with the billing. The mileage was in kilometers and not miles. So we were originally overcharged. We could not get the representatives to understand that the bill needed to be converted from kilometers to miles. They said the computer does not make mistakes. Finally a few hours later they realized the problem and corrected it and I did not have to make an extra trip back to U-Haul.
