Put inexpensive tongue Jacks on the trailers to get them on and off. Older people and smaller people sometimes can't lift them off

In my opinion I think when you get a uhaul one way if you turn it in early you should get a discount and when I turned it in with more gas then it should have I should have gotten a discount also.

The 10 ft box truck we rented was clean inside but not well maintained. It was not until we started down the road that we notice the VERY UNSAFE passenger mirror. It was so loose that the wind drag turned the mirror outwards so far that I could not view any oncoming vehicles. For the price we just paid that should not have been allowed. I feel we did not get our money's worth on that problem alone. Second to that was the passenger door handle. When my wife climbed into the truck and pulled on the handle it popped out of the door and hung there flapping. It took several tries and pulling on the window frame to actually close that door. Again this happened after I'd already driven from the store to our home and already had the truck loaded. This too was very UNSAFE. I pointed all this out to the store attendant upon return and she just shrugged and didn't offer any apologies. The store attendant in the morning, who was not the same as drop-off, should have checked the truck over for safety before handing me the keys. I will hesitate to rent from u-haul in the future; and if I do I will surely comb over the entire vehicle before leaving the lot. Please train your staff better, take better care of the trucks, and offer refunds if the experience is not satisfactory.

The Locations needs more staff for Saturdays ... there was a long line of people trying to rent equipment and an equally long line of people trying to return equipment. They really should have at least two people one taking care of each if not more. It would also be good if the staff had the tools to make minor adjustments and tighten loose bolts.

reserving the truck was one of the worst experiences in my life. I don't understand how you can reserve a location and a truck online and then two hours later you are informed that you have to pick a truck up 20 miles away and not even at the time you reserved on the website. There should not be a disconnect between what the local store has in store and what the website indicates what is available. I will not be back to uhaul for this reason. also I was transferred by your first line of service to the scheduling dept when that dept was closed. I then called back and was able to get a hold of a first line of service again and explained my situation and they stated that they can't do anything or see what is available at a location and they also tried to transfer me to the scheduling dept which was closed. Your CEO of COO needs to go through the scheduling process online or reach out to me. I have been working in sales and upper management for over 30 years and would be ashamed if my company handled situations in the manner that my attempts to reserve a truck. I had a bad experience ! the day of I was told that I had a trailer reserved , I don't even have a hitch . I assured the person I was talking to that I got a verbal and a written reservation for a 9 ft cargo van . He said the best he could do is rent the van but I must have it back by 9am. Next day . This did me no good since I couldn't get the key to the new place until 9am. Customer service assured me that nothing is stopping me from having the van longer than 9am. So I kept it . It was not my mistake . I do feel sorry for the person who had it reserved after me . So an experience that was to run so smoothly did not . Very dissapointed . I should of never of been charged from the many incoviences .

Your database needs to be more user-friendly. I reserved a 4x8 trailer a week ahead and the database gave me a 5x8 since there were no 4x8's available local. After searching about 20 zip codes for a 4x8, I found several, called one and found out they didn't have it, however, the clerk could see where there actually was one. I was willing to drive about 45 miles to get the one I needed, but your reservation system didn't give me that option. I also didn't know they could see more and search easier than me. Now I know to call rather than using the outdated reservation database.
