When I dropped of the trailer I was told I had the wrong location. I gave them the drop off address and was told I was at the wrong address. A senior staff member then came out and found me in the system and confirmed I was in the right location.

Chad the store manager was pretty helpful when I made the reservation. But when my fiancé and my dad went to pick up the uhaul Zack was very rude through the entire process. When cashing out there was sign on the credit card machine saying red X for credit, so she pressed the red X , well zack then yelled at her saying “you just canceled the entire transaction give me your card I’ll do it my self”. Politely my fiancé said that’s what the sign said to do for credit. And she politely asked if he wanted her to take off the written sign because it was clearly wrong, zack again yelled “don’t touch anything!” The following morning I went back up to the store because I accidentally locked the keys in the truck. Again I talked to chad, he said uhaul does not carry spare keys for the truck (which absolutely ridiculous) and I would have to either call road side assistance or the police. I then told chad about the experience my fiancé had with Zach the previous day and this was his response “he just had a bad, but I’ll talk to him”. That was it, didn’t ask what happened or anything. It was a pretty crappy experience all the way through. I hope zack does not treat every customer like we got treated. I’ve worked in customer service my entire career and that is no way to treat a customer I don’t care how bad of a day you are having. If you want to improve for the next customer , make sure your employees are more polite and please get spare keys for your trucks!! I mean I can’t be the first person to accidentally lock keys in their truck and if I am, I’m sure I won’t be the last. That’s pretty ridiculous not to have spare keys. In the end, this experience makes it hard to use uhaul again in the future, but if I do it will not be from this location, I’ll will my friends and family the same thing!

Could not determine how to open gas tank, and when we call the location, they told us the wrong information for the type of van I had rented. Then I got charged for not having the gas put in!

I tried to use the mobile app to return the trailer....on the dark during a snow storm. Had a difficult time adding the rental to my newly created account. App crashed twice after taking the required photos of the trailer interior. Had to return to the drop off location following morning to complete the return. Could not complete the return after hours by phone as I had been told. The app needs more work. The ability to select an existing photo would be good. The ability to add a rental in a newly created account in the app would help. They know that it is a problem since they had me log out of the app and use a browser to add it. Many hours wasted and much inconvenience.
