WOW. I booked my trailer hitch installation at this location for today's date, Wednesday, July 20. After booking I was sent an email stating that my appointment was for 7:00 AM. When I showed up the young man behind the counter informed me that there must have been a mix up and that the appointment was actually scheduled for 3:30 PM. While this would have been fine any other time, I had to drive to Ottawa later that day. The woman behind the counter than told us that someone (the hitch installer) would be in contact with me after 3:00 PM today to sort out the problem. Around 5:00 PM I had still not been contacted, so I called the number provided for this location. Obviously, as someone who had just been snubbed by the location TWICE after having already paid the $355 to have the hitch installed, I was a little irritated--HOWEVER, as somebody who works as a Customer Service Lead, I tried my best to be patient. I was handed off to a Customer Service Representative by the name of Susan. Well, Susan was extremely condescending and plain RUDE from start to finish. I was clearly upset, yes, but I gave this woman every chance to redeem her bad attitude. To begin the conversation, I had immediately asked to be put in contact with a manager. Susan then asked me why I would like to speak to a manager. Instead of immediately putting me in touch with said manager, Robert Kilfoyle, she explained to me that all appointments are immediately put in the system at 7:00 AM (fine if true) and that I was contacted and left messages in regards to the time of my appointment. I DID not receive any messages, I even looked through all of my call logs--NO phone calls were ever received from this location to my phone number that was provided. NEVER. She argued with me on this point. I don't appreciate being told I'm lying--especially when a) I am not lying and b) it's a BUSINESS is on the other end of the line. Susan finally had admitted that it was clearly a mistake on the side of the business but instead of offering a solution, the conversation took a much different turn. Susan, at this point, decided to tell me she could not help me since Robert was not available. Couldn't help me? This is supposed to be a Customer Service Representative. I asked multiple times to be put in contact with someone OTHER than herself which she refused. I was getting more and more frustrated and upset as time went on as this is a time sensitive matter and I am moving in the next few weeks and I require this trailer hitch. I was interrupted on MULTIPLE occasions--even having to go as far as saying, "Ma'am, please do not interrupt me," more than once. Susan even told me not to 'yell' at her--to be VERY clear there was NO yelling in the conversation. I was extremely frustrated by not only the complications that I had faced this morning/this afternoon, but mostly by the complete lack of respect myself and my mother (who actually had to interject MULTIPLE times over the course of a 13

Called the day before, they helped me determine which size of truck I needed and made reservation, got the truck next day, no problem, did the move, returned it and was processed out all in good time. Happy with service recieved, have used this location before.

Over all knowledge The staff rented me the wrong equipment for what I need it I need to tow a trailer was given a cube van that was unable to hook up to the trailer So I had to drive back 2 hours to return a van that I could not use On top of everything I was charged almost $200 At the very least I shouldn't have been charged for the rental I will never use u-haul again

This time the 3 cup holders were sticky and the staff typed in the wrong date which delayed my departure. The staff was professional and apologized but I didn't appreciate having to start over. I ended up being late because of his error.

The service I got at this location was atrocious! I called their location on June 26th and booked the trailer I wanted. I recv'd an email confirmation. I didn't notice that the pick up location on it was Joplin, Missouri about 2000 miles from where I am in Kingston Ontario. I went to pick it up at 2459 Princess st & of course it wasn't there. The staff were not helpful, and no apology was offered. They didn't make any effort to locate the closest one available. I had to go back to my office & phone around to find one at 848 Hwy 2 E

Make sure you give the customers their blankets they requested. And not give false information!!! and tell them one thing then say the customer never ordered a certain size truck when they did- very unprofessional. Last but not least get a better phone system the wait is sickening!

The vehicle was clean, no issues. The truck's direction felt a bit loose, however. And though I understand only being responsible to bring back the vehicle with the same amount of fuel it had when it was taken, it is not very practical to get a truck with only a 1/4 of a tank...
