The gentleman who waited on us was totally unfamiliar with forms, requirements for driver's license, cc, couldn't open lock box for keys. Took over an hour and 20 min to get truck. We'd still be there if the manager had not come in.

Picked up the truck from a man who did not know what he was doing. He called later to ask me for my payment information again, requesting that I drive back to him. When I opened the truck it was dirty with top soil, thus I conclude that the truck was never inspected upon arrival.

The guy at this location had no idea what he was doing. After he was on the phone for half an hour trying to get me the U-Haul I told him to give me the phone and had to talk with that person to get them to re-input all the information I had already filled out online. When this was finally done he refused to go with me to the truck to do the inspection or check the gas gauge, so I ended up just doing it myself and taking pictures of the condition and coming back in to sign final paperwork. Whole process took over 45 minutes and lots of frustration. When I returned the truck (fortunately to a different location) the U-Haul staff couldn't believe that he also gave me entirely the wrong paperwork and was going to give me an extra change. Fortunately staff at drop-off were great. They fixed everything, gave me the correct paperwork, and sent me on my way in less than 5 mins. The difference in the service between pick up and drop off was shocking.

It was head office uhaul who really messed up in so many ways. Very bad experience. If you want to hear more about it you can give me a call but based on the way uhaul customer service dealt with the issue they caused, I am not going to hold my breath

The. Process seemed to take a long time when I was finished waiting for my final receipt. The one cashier had to wait on several other customers while I waited in the store.

Person did not know how to do rental. No contract was given and continually wanted me to sign refusal of the uhaul insurance after I was clearly charged for it. This mad it frustrating. Aside from knowing where I started with the gas, and how many km's I was alotted made it a little stressful but I knew enough were provided and how much gas to replace

The gas tank was not full...in fact just under the halfway mark (7/16)....the computer could not put in this value so when I dropped it off I had to put more gas in then when I picked it up (half tank) or I was told they would charge me. Also, the printer was out of ink so I did not get my contract...I had to go home again to print it out from there since they had to email it to me! That is when I noticed that the gas gauge was not as I picked it up. Also, I was not sent the free two year storage voucher that was promised for renting this truck. They people were very friendly and apologized for the time I wasted having to wait then STILL not get my contract...before backtracking home to print it out for myself.

In the past, I have always dealt with the uhaul location on Clark Road in London. They are always great. This time, in the interest of saving time, we changed it up. I am not impressed and will not rent from them again. It is a variety store/gas station and, they did not have enough staff on to handle everything going on. I had to wait for my turn (no problem there) but then, once it was my turn, had to continually wait while many other customers (at least 5) were given priority so, it took me approximately 30 minutes just to pick up the trailer. Then, he directed us "out back" to hook it up - with no assistance. My husband is not at all experienced in dealing with trailers so, my son and I hooked it up. Once we were all done, the employee came and and did do a light check.... then said, sorry I have other customers (which he did). When my husband dropped it off later, he had no help at all in backing it up and unhooking it (I was unable to drive back into town with him). The 12" enclosed trailers are NOT light and, he really needed assistance lifting it off of the hitch but, none was available to him. Won't rent from this location again!!!!

Truck was not the size I had ordered and received confirmation for. Equipment ordered was not with the truck was not with the truck and we had to drive to a different location to retrieve the items. Also the location never once answered the telephone when both I and the regional dispatch office attempted to react them (7) times. Wasted a lot of our time and ended up costing us extra money in fuel and time. I likey won't use U Haul again as a result and we will be needing a truck again within the next three months.

U-Haul Contract 94200615 The problem is not with the location but with u-haul services. The Komoka people were helpful and courteous. However, I have not received a refund for my overpayment. I rented a van on September 30th and returned it on October 1st. I was charged for 200 kms, but I only used 140 kms. Unfortunately, the phone number that your office sent with my confirmation information for the Komoka, Ontario location where I picked up my truck is OUT OF SERVICE. This means that I have been unable to call them to request my refund. I also forgot my phone charger in the van and no one has contacted me to arrange its return. This is a very frustrating experience as a customer when I couldn't get in touch with u-haul, especially since this follows on the mix up with my reservation where the van I had booked in Brantford was given to someone else. I have already paid for the extra miles traveling back and forth to Komoka. Please refund the difference for the 60 extra kilometers. In addition, the email you sent me with my receipt contained an invalid email address, so I could not email my query to the mail number either. Please send my refund and phone charger asap. Ensure person hooking up trailer is familiar with HOW to hook up and can LIFT the size of the trailer needed. Make sure they KNOW what is necessary to be SAFE on the hwy. I had a fellow who could barely lift a 6 X 12 trailer and he asked me ( back issues not allowed) to help. Then after quite a while of trying he got it up on the ball, and chained up, with no working lights and the hitch didn't go down over the ball and was clearly still visible, he told me it was connected fine and I was safe and alright to proceed and drive like that!!! I had to argue with him saying that I knew for sure the ball and hitch were NOT on safely and that the ball was sticking way out and was not safe, as well as not being able to drive without the lights connected....VERY SCARY had I not know differently I could have killed someone or killed myself.... Very UNIMPRESSED.
