I returned the truck in 3 hours just before the 7pm closing time. when I we did the pre-check for mileage and gas level, the truck was not running but rather the key was in the position to show the digital information as well as the the gas level. It did show the level of gas being on the full mark. The documentation was marked as such. However, when I pulled away the gas gauge needle immediately dropped slightly off the mark. I didn't think to much about it. When I returned the truck after completing my move. I had gone a grand total of 4 miles, yes 4 miles and during the post usage inspection I was told I would need to pay a gas fee of $8.50 for gas usage. I tried to reason with the employee that there is no way I used that amount of gas for a 4 mile round trip. He would not even entertain the thought. I jumped in the truck and drove the truck a quarter mile to get gas. I filled the truck to bring the gas needle to where it showed it directly on the F for full. I returned the truck to the designated spot and saw the employees entering the building, but it was 10 min past 7 and they would not come back out. I left the truck. I still do not know my charges, but it should be 29.95 plus 4.5 miles(.79 per mi) plus tax. I also thought the truck rental was for 24 hrs, but they acted as though I needed to return the vehicle by closing or before they opened the next morning. My Email is and my cell # is 765-491-9860. If a renter of one of your units says that he/she would like to look over the vehicle before using it, it would be helpful if your attendant would offer to help check all the lights including the brake lights before taking the truck. That would be helpful and courteous!

I generally found the experience positive, but found the truck to have unsettling vibrations at low and higher speeds and I noticed a hissing sound with braking. I reported these to the check-in consultant when I returned the equipment but found the truck did provide adequate service to meet my needs.

Payment via the app did not work and it severely miscalculated cost of fuel. Instead of $30 app suggest it was $60 plus a $30 fee. My overall rental was 50% more expensive because of this and I would have taken the truck to a gas station had a know the full cost of not refilling the tank.

No option for neutral on questions above. Some good, some bad. At pickup time: person did check lights and noticed passenger rear top light was hanging out of rubber mount. Person worked to position but did not recheck lights. It turned out he plug had pulled out. Also running lights were not checked at time of check out and did not work. brake and turn signal lights worked. I was unable to use at night due to this. was not able to complete the move. returned day early and disappointed. Tires inflated and rest of trailer worked. Lighting was the issue. Lower lights in rear for braking and turn signals did not work. Only upper rear lights.

My 17’ truck on the west side was changed to a 26’ truck at this location. This added extra miles to my bill, the truck was completely too large to maneuver in the area being used and the front end popped like there was an issue with the steering. I have driven trucks as large as this before and know based on the GVRW you are complying with legal requirements, but renting a truck this large to just anyone who has a drivers license is borderline negligence.

First off this was not the location I was originally supposed to pick up truck. Then I was setup with after hrs pickup. After standing in the parking lot for 2 hrs I was told there's no way I'm getting a truck that night because they did not assign me a truck. Thanks for screwing up my moving experience from the beginning. Made reservation a month in advance and there was no truck at the original location. Thats horrible service. I was given a discount ,but the time and frustration that Uhaul cost me is not worth it.

I realize there are extra fees. But I only had the van for maybe 2.5 hours of in town driving. Barely used any gas. I feel $60 was too much. I did buy the insurance for $10. but it is still too high for what I used.

No one in showroom. No response to first two calls on intercom radio for service. When a rep showed up 15 minutes later, he was unable to assist. Rather than get someone to help, he serviced a reurn from customer who had just arrived.

Only down side was that I made the selection online and was asked a ton of questions about my vehicle. It then showed me a list of trailers that I was able to pull with it. When I got to the location to rent it, they had to wait and make sure their system would allow it. They said it is different than the web which is weird. I was able to rent but I would have been pissed if the web said yes and the store said No.
