I rated my experience above average and not excellent, as the equipment was clean, but drove as though it could use a little maintenance. I would have also liked to have the opportunity to receive a free month of storage rent had I been given proper information about picking up a truck at one location and dropping off at another at the time of acquiring the storage unit and truck.

At first was told they did not have what I needed and then after I question what was wrong with the one I see on the lot. Then I was told that they did not see it, The whole time the worker did not leave his seat if so he would have seem it.

Everything went very well. However, I didn't see much difference between time saved by using U-Haul's (new?) smartphone app to get your rental using your phone upon arrival and by just making a reservation the normal way. In other words, I feel that it took me just as much time to go through all the steps, using my smartphone to secure the truck that I rented, as it would just going up to the counter to get everything done after reserving a vehicle earlier (online/phone). It's my understanding that the smartphone app is supposed to save time by a customer having only to go into the store to pick up the key to the vehicle after taking care of all the other preliminary steps from their smartphone. I don't know that it's really that much more efficient but then again, that's just my experience. Overall, service here was great and pretty much efficient.

Customer service was horrible they answered the phone "what's up Cuzz" he used profanity when I told them the gas needle was on E instead of the 1)2 tank mark they had on the contract. I was completely ignored for 10 mins before I was helped. Never never never again at this location. At first I thought I was being pranked it was just that horrible.

First I would like to thank the General Manager Meri Payne. She help me with my storage questions. I told her that i will always come back to that UHaul for my storage and truck rentals. I was very happy with my experience at this location. It was very clean something i have never seen in any other storage place. Please keep her around. Thank you again.

I did a one way trip and the miles was supposed to me accurate from beginning to end. I only drove from the start location to the end location. But I was charged a extra 10 miles. Please recalculate the mileage on one way trips

Speed of service, but all uhaul locations are generally very slow at service. I wish I could get checked in and out outside. These places should be built more like automobile service lanes so your in one lane and out the other. If I pre submit my information it doesn't speed up the service.

The area was a little tight if you are required to drive a large vehicle through. I had to use a friend's vehicle to drop off the tow dolly as my RV would not fit.

Well first I rented cargo vans from other uhaul sim the state of md & I was refunded the remaining payment back in my account the same day!!.. this location in landover was the first that has taking over 24 hours & I still have yet to receive my money back !!.. witch seems to be very odd to me!!..

The truck was horrible!!! It kept tossing the furniture every time you stop!! Apparently the transmission is bad! The employee Glenn has a horrible attitude and demeanor. Glenn was consistently smart mouthed! He definitely does not have customer service skills and at some point after belittling me my husband got upset as well and he did the same with him but not to that extent. He rushed me to bring the truck back and claimed someone else had rented it at 1:30 and demanded I get the truck back immediately and I was moving from an apartment to a house therefore if he stated it was a timeframe when I called and reserved the truck I would have told him the time frame was too short but when I called he said no such thing!! I have rented uhauls from this location many times and always had great customer service! Glen is horrible!!! I will be calling to speak with the Manager on Monday for sure!! Everything that is said in this rating will definitely be repeated and I have already started typing up an email to lodge this complaint further than the Manager

Pay more attention and stop over charging me for equipment I didn't use. Contract out didn't have anything on there about me using "utility" (dolly) but after I returned the truck I was charged for it. Problem still isn't fixed because I still haven't received a call from the manager like customer service said I will.

I was charged for a dolly in the back of the truck that I never used. The seal was broken because Lefab or whatever the employees name was did not bolt the dolly down properly so it slipped out and broke the seed. I will never use this location ever again and refer all my friends to go elsewhere when renting a truck.
