I reserved the $19.95 rental online two days before I needed it. What I was quoted for the rental was not the price that I was charged. Peak Business Services "tried" to resolve the issue by contacting UHaul customer service, but the owner was honestly not helpful, as he admitted that the prices continued to change and he did not know what the rate was. After I explained to customer service that what I was quoted for and reserved to my credit card was not what I had to pay, they continued to explain to me how they came up with the price, as if I didn't understand basic math. I continued to tell them that I understood the charges, but that was not was told to me and what I agreed upon (75 miles included in the rental). I was told that I would have to reach out to the corporate office (which was closed) to resolve the issue. This issue took an additional 45 minutes, which the owner would not let me get back at the end of my rental. I was highly disappointed with my experience with UHAUL and will likely never use UHaul again. They did not honor my price quote/contract and changed my contract at least 3 times.

The cargo van had a very disagreeable interior odor and I had to purchase a deodorizer to try to counteract it. The interior floor should also have been swept or vacuumed before it was rented out.

The location at 14440 Cherry Lane Ct, Ste 117, Laurel MD 20707 is a privately owned business where U-Haul is one of many services they offer. They were very rude. The truck was wedged between two other U-Haul trucks, and they argued with me when I asked them to back it out to put it in another parking space. They guy closed the mirrors and told me to back it out myself, which I would not do. When he went to open the cab, he realized they had given me the key to another truck! I'm glad I did that as I was not taking the truck until later when I had a person with me to drive my car. They did not go around the truck with me to do an inspection, and were annoyed with me when I asked them to open the cargo door so I could see inside the back of the truck. They were just rude on all levels, and so unlike what I have experienced at the corporate U-Haul stores. A service light was on for the tracking. I would expect them to maintain the vehicles so that customers would not have to be concerned about such things. I did the online check-in before arriving to pick up the truck, and yet it took the better part of 20 minutes to check-in at the site. They had my driver's license and credit card for at least 10 minutes. I thought the online check-in was to speed up that process. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Very convenient location next to storage facilities, small office facilitates easy in and out process. So thankful they were flexible enough to accommodate my unexpected need to keep the truck for an extra 2 days. Good customer service. Plus their boxes were much cheaper than the storage facilities. Attendant arrived 20 minutes after 9am and I had a tight schedule. Was not pleasant and did not apology for his tardiness.

The individual (owner) working at this location was extremely unprofessional. The store was supposed to open at 9am and the individual and river at 9:30. He walked into the store and locked the door behind him. We stood outside the door waiting for him to open, when he did he simply unlocked the door, no apology, no effort to open the door for us. There was also another individual there who had a 9am appointment for finger printing who was pretty much ignored. The worker also checked the van without us, so I insisted that we check it together. He had poor customer service skills and was rude and off-putting.
