Van was clean but leaked water due to poor previously-made repairs resulting in probably thousands of dollars in damage to my household goods. And of course your "Safemove" insurance doesn't cover water damage so thanks a lot Uhaul. Please pass my review on to all your prospective future customers and explain that Safemove ins. may not be so safe.

Only issue was a hand truck was loose in the back that I didn't realize until I opened the door at the pickup location. I hadn't requested a hand truck and it was added to the bill until I explained we hadn't requested or used it. They removed it without questioning it so I was very pleased with the truck and the service.

Wasted our whole day when they could’ve made a truck one way to accommodate for the time we reserved, then when I was rightfully upset, not one curse word or the like was uttered, I was told I’m hostile and violent, if I had been another ethnicity I wouldn’t have been called these names; they would’ve acknowledged that I was angry because my whole day was wasted and tried to accommodate me.

I was particularly impressed by the ease of locating this storage facility and the easy drive in and parking setting. The First thing i observed was their excellent friendly customer service on phone and in person. The person who spoke with me patiently explained every step i needed to take in order to make my move-in process smooth and answered all my question to my satisfaction. i got to the facility late in the evening, but they patient enough and went out of their way to ensure they provided the needed services i required.,, they took exceptional professional care in helping me make the appropriate choice and size of store room and other logistics like padlock and electronic lock system etc that i required for my goods. . Fourthly, the serenity, and exceptional neatness of the storage facility itself was outstanding. they had enough equipment to assist me haulage my goods from my truck to my store room. This further made my move-in very smooth. I also noted that their price rate was also far cheaper than the store rooms in the area.Their Honesty and analysis was very impressive I feel at rest that my goods are in safe hands -Ed.

The staff was very polite and friendly. The only reason that I could not give higher scores is because the truck that I picked up was VERY filthy on the outside. It was bad enough that the very first stop I made was at a gas station so that I could wipe down the side windows because I could not see clearly out of them while driving.

The bed of the truck was clean, who ever the cab area was very dirty ( food crumbs, dirt, windows were dirty). Granted the truck had lots of miles on it but it looked like it had not been cleaned inside in months. I have rented 3 uhauls I the last year and this was by far the dirtiest and worn equipment.

I want to express my dissatisfaction with not only this particular Uhaul but Uhaul in general. First the employee at this Uhaul that was renting the truck to me was very unpleasant. He accused me of not knowing my own billing address or my apartment location. he spoke down to me and treated me like an idiot. This is unacceptable behavior. This alone is grounds for a refund or at least reimbursement for being subjected to hostile environment. The sub par experience continued when they charged me for miles that they put on the truck. I had requested to pick up from a location in Gaithersburg Maryland and they changed the pickup location to 30 miles away. Since it was not a move I requested and instead a move that uhaul made I am entitled to be reimbursed for the extra miles. This doesn't even begin to cover how terrible this moving experience was. The movers that Uhaul suggested help with the move where also disastrous. I should have known that it would go poorly when the movers did not return my phone call ahead of the move to confirm details from the pre-move questionnaire about driving the truck. I decided to let it slide but I now realize that it should have been a red flag. I found out, at the move, that even though they ask if you want them to drive the truck they won't do it anyway. Why ask the questions if the answers are just going to be ignored, but that even that is not the point. On the day of the move they started late. Aaron and Tyrone were late for my 10:30 appointment. To give them some credit they did call to tell me they were running late and I decided to let that slide as well since they were only about 10 minutes late. That was the last time they showed any sort of professionalism and they were unpleasant for the rest of the day. They snacked, sat around, took a number of phone calls and took lots of breaks instead of loading the truck. It felt like they were intentionally dragging out the loading time. This was an average-sized, one-bedroom apartment that I had already packed and staged near the front door of the apartment. All that needed to be done was move my boxes and furniture out and load them onto the truck. The Uhaul website suggested that this should take about 2 hours. I thought that if they were moving slowly they would maybe get it done in 3 hours. This was not the case. Aaron and Tyrone dragged it out for 5 hours. 5 hours. As I was the one who moved all this same furniture and boxes into the apartment 12 months ago, with just my 70 year old father to help, I pretty much know how long it should have taken to move everything from that apartment and load up the truck. Not only did they drag it out and make it slow, they scattered all my belongings between my apartment door and the elevator on my floor and the elevator on the ground floor out to the truck. They left several very expensive things unattended for long periods of time and they were very inconsiderate and careless with what they were doing. They left

The trailer I was given was fine, but looked like it was from the 1980s. Customer service was alright, however the representative helping me wasn't knowledgeable and was hitching the trailer up incorrect.

The staff could be a lot more polite manager was slightly rude. Please get them functioning company issued phones to pull up customers orders they were using their own personal devices which were glitchy and slow.

The truck I rented was in very bad condition the front head light was busted out the rear driver side tire was wobbly and the truck vibrator when I was driving and I was over charged on the mileage so I will not return nor recommend anyone to this location or use Uhaul again!!!!!!!!!!!
