The man running the rental was friendly and helpful. That's where the good stuff ends. The truck I rented was in need of work. The drivers door ajar indicator lit up on the dashboard in spite of the door appearing closed. I had to slam the door several times to get the issue off the display. In addition, the drivers side roll down window handle knob comes off while trying to roll the window down (the attendant did warn me of this problem, but that doesn't make it any less of a hassle to operate). The radio in the truck didn't play, you can hear nothing but static on any channel. The advertised price of $19.95 to rent the truck is such a farse. That price may be if you want to just sit in the truck and not move. I drove 44 miles, paid $21 in gas (the small box truck was a real gas guzzler) on top of the final U-Haul price of $79. Advertised $19.99, actual amount $100 for about two hours of use. I'll find another option if I need to move a piece of furniture in the future.
