This review is not necessarily for the Aim Petroleum location in Lincoln, NE, but for the overall experience we had with U-Haul in Lincoln, NE. I first made the reservation on April 15th to pick up a 15' truck on May 11th at a location (1930 Fletcher Ave), that would be convenient for my wife and me. Making the reservation 4 weeks in advance, I thought, was plenty of notice to ensure the truck would be present and ready to go. On May 4th, I did revise the reservation to pick up the truck up one day earlier as advised by a recent U-Haul customer, who'd had issues with their reservation. One day earlier would ensure I'd have a working truck at the time that I needed it. Five days later, I was informed by U-Haul that my pickup location had been altered to 48th & Vine Streets . No reason was given, but it was much further away from where I needed it. We arrived at the 48th & Vine location at the agreed upon time (3PM) but were informed they had no one-way trucks available. The gentleman informed me that they should have received 2 trucks in at 9AM that morning, but none showed up. He began calling those customers to see where the trucks were. Knowing we were going to be there at 3PM, I was very confused as to why they didn't start calling those people at 10AM. In my opinion, this was very poor logistical planning when they knew weeks in advance that we'd be there at this time. After speaking to his boss on the phone, they did locate an available truck at yet a THIRD location at 2305 R Street a few more miles away. At first sight, this was a VERY rough looking location. But, the gentleman that waited on us was outstanding. He was very busy running a convenience store and waiting on us simultaneously and doing such single-handedly. This young man was helpful, and very courteous...someone is lucky to have him as an employee!! This ended up being very time-consuming because with the change in location, an entire new rental agreement had to be executed. We eventually were handed the keys and were on our way. Upon getting in the cab, the truck was basically disgusting. There was soda pop spilled on the dash and floor, the seats were filthy as was the floor. When we got to a personal location, we had to scrub the entire interior with hot water and Pine Sol and place a deodorizer inside to help cover up the stench of stale cigarette smoke. We also had to wash the windshield in order to see without peering through smashed bugs. And, as you might imagine, the cargo area of the truck had not swept nor cleaned, even containing broken glass. The truck, itself ran well and got us safely to our destination 1,100 miles away. Overall, I believe the service we received from U-Haul was very poor. I felt that the company was more concerned for the company's convenience than they were their customers'.

Stop charging for your mistakes. I will be filling a complain and requesting my money back. I took pictured and videos of when it was that I returned the truck,condition and mileage.
RAMON MThis location is a convenience store, and while the staff was helpful, the check-in process was terrible because of U-Haul's Android app. I had to upload the same picture multiple times without clear error messages on what went wrong, a necessary step is to scan the location's barcode - but there was no location barcode to scan, only a QR Code to download the app. So I had to wait for the location's owner to come so he could check me in. It took me a half-hour to get checked in - entirely due to your crappy app. The question above is "Would you recommend this location to a friend?" -- it's not the location I have a problem with, it's U-Haul. I wouldn't recommend U-Haul to a friend.
David GI paid for furniture dolly & regular dolly but never got the furniture dolly.
Carmelita PI signed up online, but there was no computer at the location, and I was asked to fill in information on the cell phone the person working there was using. Total waste of time!! Then, when I got in the truck, the fuel gauge showed empty, so I went back inside and was told I could drive the truck, but I didn't want to run out of gas, so I put a couple of gallons in, since I wasn't going far. Then when I started to drive off, I realized that NONE of the dashboard displays worked, not the fuel gauge, the speedometer, the turn signals, the gear indicators...NOTHING...
