I can't think of anything that could improve the service I received at this location. I was treated wonderfully and would return anytime I needed a truck again. The telephone operators were superb as well! I was happy to be treated like a valued person at all times. Thank you for hiring such wonderful staff.

Service was slow, contract process was way to time consuming for already reserving and providing my info online. Long lines. Had return time wrong but n computer (different than what I said online and on my rental contract). Renting a car dolly should not be that hard.

Your manager Jerome was extremely difficult to have a conversation with and lacks any kind of customer service skills. He should not be in a position to deal with the public. I now understand why the staff in Lodi are struggling to inform customers of important facts every consumer should have prepared for with such poor leadership!

It took about 30 minutes for the staff to open the gate after I left a dolley in the lot. I called 3 times and they didn’t even send someone out, until a person that had a storage unit opened the gate with his code.

I rented from uhaul plenty of time. I swept out the back of the truck and the cab was clean as well and I recieved my receipt via email got home and the guy charged me $25 fee for cleaning. Such a scam. Also the fuel marker was on full and I got charged 10.00 for fuel. This place is definitely a scam and am very unhappy with the service I recieved.

We spent sometime trying to locate the correct return U-Haul facilitie with your clerk to no avail and didn't really know where we needed to return the truck which when time wasn't available to waste was taken an it made the return quite hectic as unable to be verify the return with Manteca as it was closed and so we kept the truck an extra day making it two extra days okay

I was told that the store was open on New Years Day until 7:00. I was also told if I returned the trailer on Monday, the charge was for 2 days, not 3. While the contract may be clear on the 24 hour schedule for the "Per day" rental, the salesperson was not. Otherwise, I wouldn't have pushed myself to get the trailer back before 7:00 pm, and missed watching the Rose Bowl with family. The young man is very helpful otherwise, but verbally made it sound that as long as I returned the trailer by 7:00 pm, it was just a 2-day charge. This was somewhat frustrating. I didn't argue, because the contract is a 24 hour based "day"...but it was very misleading for him to tell me it would be a 2 day charge if it was returned on the 1st. Otherwise, this is a very well run store.

It would be nice if the employees would say they’d b right with you or something to that affect. I’ve been there several times in the last two weeks, and I’ve only heard someone say it once. When it’s busy, customers should know that the employees see them and acknowledge them. Just good customer service.

Lodi location-I am a 63 y.o. single woman who just sold and packed up my home, and am moving out of state, I was putting most of my belongings into a UPAK storage container, but I needed a small trailer to take my two harps, clothing and some personal items with me to Spokane, Jerome, the manger at the Lodi location, did not tell me the 5x8 trailer I had reserved weeks in advanced might NOT be available at his location the day of my move. First glitch. When I arrived at 7:15 he said,, "Didn't you get the email?" NO, I had called the day before to confirm and was told it would be ready. So, as I was driving off to Stockton to get the trailer while movers were sitting at my house with nothing to do. he called me and said they found something in "inventory". I went back and he attached a 6x12 trailer to my little Rav 4. It was huge, and low, and once loaded with my small load, the hitch dragged on the ground. That was clearly not going to get me to Spokane. I had also been charged over $1200 for a trailer I didn't ask for, hadn't budged for, nor was it appropriate for my little car. Why would he even hitch it up to my car? My car wasn't rated for such a large trailer and I know he knew that, but he kept saying, "What do you wane me to do?" I asked him to find me a 4x8 or 5x8 but he insisted he couldn't do that. Jerome acted like this was somehow my fault. Of course we had to unload the 6x12 and I returned it. My plan to take a small load of essentials with me while the bulk of my home went into a upack storage container, were really messed up. I had to ask the movers to come back a second day because of the delays and it cost me hundreds more. I didn't sleep all night trying to figure out what to do. I had $25.000 worth of delicate musical instruments, boxes of other items , and 3 cats and their carriers to somehow get to Spokane, and no trailer. I couldn't possibly get all of this into the Rav4. I was so upset. I got up the next morning, called the uhaul number and they told me there was a 4x8 trailer at the Lodi location. Surprise, surprise. When I did go in to pick it up, Jerome was acting angry with me which was disgusting, because it was MY plans that were messed up, not his. Why didn't he call ME the minute he knew he had that smaller trailer, so I wouldn't be without a trailer and wouldn't keep worrying? Jerome kept asking me what I wanted him to do. I wanted him to do his job. i wanted him to put me, the customer, who had spent hundreds of dollars there on packing materials, and was about the spend hundreds more on a trailer, first. I wanted to feel like he would do whatever it took to make it right, but he acted like some sort of victim instead. I wanted him to do whatever it took to help me so my already high stress levels would be reduced but he did't. It was a very stressful and negative experience and I had planned so carefully, having made that reservation weeks in advance. I felt like I had to be

Submitted a reservation on-line over a week in advance, only to find out one day ahead that I might not have a truck. Turns out I had to drive an extra 4 hours to pick it up in a distant location. All because I was going long distance and renting one-way. I would never do this again -- too risky. Poor policy with U-Haul. Does not serve the customer well.

I was forced to drive an extra 30 miles to pickup the trailer from a location othe4 than the one I reserved. U-Haul needs to change your reservation system so some one will know where they are actually going to get to pick it up. The trailer was not swept out when we picked it up but didn’t figure that out until we started loading. Since it is required to be swept I falsely assumed some one at store would verify.

Teach employees not to be rude to customers. Maybe send them to customer service training. They treated me like a criminal. I am a retired disabled veteran and never stolen anything in my life. Did not want to rent to me due to having only one phone. I am disabled and do not work. Had to give a family members phone number and wait for employee to call and make sure I am not a thief. I felt very degraded and discriminated against.
