Very frustrating and disappointing experience. I reserved a van online for 1 hour and 15 km and completed the online check-in. When I arrived, the employee canceled my reservation, said it was incorrect, and created a new rental for 3 hours, adding services I did not authorize. I was told these charges were required. I actually used the van for only 38 minutes and 14 km, yet was charged $65, more than double my original reservation. I will be contacting customer service to address this. Based on this experience, I will not use this location again.
Heather MThe guy who gave us the vehicle was very nice in the am. Upon return the guy wouldn’t help my husband with bringing any of the blankets in or the dolly. He just sat and watched. Very rude.
Voula BI was extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this U-Haul location. When I arrived to pick up my rental, I was told I must purchase additional coverage, despite having already opted out online. This was presented as mandatory, which is misleading and unacceptable. When I returned the vehicle, I was made to wait while other customers were served first, and communication from the staff member was unprofessional and unhelpful. I also question whether the employee identified himself truthfully, as the name provided seemed doubtful. I expect clear and respectful service, and unfortunately that was not my experience.
